Introduction

This document provides instructions for programming the Symbol LS9203 scanner for use with an Autogas REGAL Touch.

Required Hardware

•Cable

• CBA-R01-S07PA (RS232 Cable, DB9 Female, TxD on 2, 7 ft. Straight), or

• CBA-R02-C09PA (RS232 Cable, DB9 Female, TxD on 2, 9 ft. Coiled).

• Power Supply

• 50-14000-008 (110VAC for N. America), or

• 50-14000-009 (220VAC for Europe and Asia), or

• 50-14000-010 (100VAC for Japan).

Scanner Setup

The following parameters need to be set:

•SetDefaults

• Standard RS-232

• Baud Rate 9600*

• Parity Space

• Hardware Handshaking: None*

• Software Handshaking: None*

• 2 Stop Bits

•7-Bit

• Scan Data Transmission Format: Append suffix value "1013".

* Already set by default.
