Function and application
A piston moves backwards and forwards
when compressed air is applied alterna-
tely to ports
. This movement is trans-
ferred to the piston rod. The speed of
the piston rod is braked by a hydraulic
shock absorber in the end position. The
end positions are interrogated in groo-
ves
$
at the shock absorber support on
thesidewiththecompressedairport.
The end position is set with stop disc
#
.
Linear module HMP-... is designed for
the transport of masses.
Transport and storage
•Please take into account the weight
of the HMP-....
It weighs up to 20 kg.
Funktion und Anwendung
Durch wechselweise Belüftung der
Druckluftanschlüsse
bewegt sich ein
Kolben hin und her. Die Bewegung wird
auf die Kolbenstange übertragen. Die
Geschwindigkeit der Kolbenstange wird
in der Endlage durch einen hydrauli-
schen Stoßdämpfer abgebremst, bis die
Kolbenstange am Endanschlag gestoppt
wird. Die Endlagen werden am luftan-
schlußseitigen Stoßdämpferhalter in den
Nuten
$
abgefragt.
Die Position der Endlagen wird durch
die Anschlagscheiben
#
eingestellt.
Das Linearmodul HMP-... wird bestim-
mungsgemäß zum Massetransport ein-
gesetzt.
Transport und Lagerung
•Berücksichtigen Sie das Gewicht
des HMP-...:
Es wiegt bis zu 20 kg.

Conditions of use
These general conditions for the correct
and safe use of the product must be ob-
served at all times.
•Compare the specified values with
your application.
Please observe the specified limits
(e.g. for pressures, moments, ma-
sses, speeds and temperatures).
•Please ensure that there is a supply
of correctly prepared compressed air.
•Please observe the prevailing am-
bient conditions.
•Comply with national and local
safety laws and regulations.
Voraussetzungen für den
Produkteinsatz
Allgemeine, stets zu beachtende Hin-
weise für den ordnungsgemäßen und si-
cheren Einsatz des Produkts:
•Vergleichen Sie die angegebenen
Grenzwerte mit Ihrem Einsatzfall.
Die zulässigen Grenzwerte, z.B. für
Drücke, Kräfte, Momente, Massen,
Geschwindigkeiten und Temperaturen
dürfen nicht überschritten werden.
•Sorgen Sie für ordnungsgemäß
aufbereitete Druckluft.
•Berücksichtigen Sie die vorherr-
schenden Umweltbedingungen.
•Beachten Sie die Vorschriften der Be-
rufsgenossenschaft, des Technischen
Überwachungsvereins oder entspre-
chende nationale Bestimmungen.

•Remove all packaging such as pro-
tective wax, foils, cartons and caps.
The individual materials can be dis-
posed of in recycling containers.
•Maintain the medium selected at the
start for the complete service life of
the product,
e.g. if non-lubricated compressed air
is selected, this should always be
used thereafter.
•Slowly pressurize the complete
system.
Use safety start-up valve HEL-... for
this purpose. This will prevent sud-
den uncontrolled movements from oc-
curring.
•The product must be used in its origi-
nal state. Unauthorized modification
is not permitted.
•Entfernen Sie alle Transportvorkeh-
rungen wie Schutzwachs, Folien,
Kappen, Kartonagen.
Die Entsorgung der einzelnen Werk-
stoffe in Recycling-Sammelbehälter
ist möglich.
•Behalten Sie das einmal gewählte
Medium über die gesamte Produktle-
bensdauer bei.
Beispiel:
immer ungeölte Druckluft verwenden.
•Belüften Sie Ihre gesamte Anlage
langsam.
Dazu dient das Sicherheits-Einschalt-
ventil Typ HEL-... . Dann treten keine
unkontrollierten Bewegungen auf.
•Verwenden Sie das Produkt im Origi-
nalzustand ohne jegliche eigenmäch-
tige Veränderung.

Einbau
mechanisch
•Behandeln Sie das HMP-... so, daß
keine Schäden am Führungsrohr auf-
treten.
Diese führen zur Minderung der Be-
triebssicherheit und der Lebensdauer.
•Achten Sie auf einen verzugsfreien
Einbau.
•Plazieren Sie das Linearmodul so,
daß Sie stets die Bedienteile errei-
chen können.
•Wählen Sie eine der folgenden Befe-
stigungsalternativen:
Fitting
Mechanical
•Treat the HMP-... with care so that
the guide tubing is not damaged.
This would impair reliable operation
and service life.
•Make sure that the linear module is
not distorted when fitted.
•Position the linear module so that
the operating parts are always
accessible.
•Fasten the module in one of the
following ways:

•Stellen Sie sicher, daß beim Plazie-
ren der beweglichen Masse folgende
Vorgaben eingehalten werden:
– verkantungsfreier Einbau,
– zulässige Querkraft FQ,
– zulässige Längskraft
(senkrechter Einbau) FL
– zulässiges Drehmoment
Mx,M
y,M
z
Die zulässigen Werte sind den ‘Tech-
nischen Daten’ und den Diagrammen
im Kapitel ‘Kennlinien’ zu entnehmen.
Zur Einhaltung der zulässigen Lagerbe-
lastung der Wälzlagerführung:
•Stellen Sie sicher, daß der Massen-
schwerpunkt der Nutzlast innerhalb
des zulässigen Montagebereichs
liegt (siehe Kapitel ‘Kennlinien’).
•Please observe the following points
when positioning the moving mass:
– the module must not be tilted when
fitted
– the max. permitted lateral force FQ,
– the max. permitted longitudinal
force (vertical fitting) FL
– the max. permitted tightening
torque Mx,, My, Mz
The permitted values can be found in
the section "Technical specifications"
and in the diagrams in the section
"Characteristic curves."
In order to maintain the permitted bea-
ring loading of the roller bearing guide,
•make sure that the mass centre of
gravity of the work load lies within
the permitted fitting range (see chap-
ter ”Characteristic curves”).
