1. Testing Preparation
This test needs to a KZ-02AL, a DC12V/1A power supply, and a router (with
Internet access). The hardware diagram is as follows:
Note: The device is dynamic IP by default. A router (with Internet access) is
recommended to test the connection.
①In the case of power failure, connect the supporting network cable to the device.
②Use the matching power adapter to supply power to KZ-02AL.
2. Function Introduction
2.1 Overview
KZ-02AL is 2*DO&2*AI&2*DI.
KZ-02AL can be widely used in farms, agricultural greenhouses, IoT terminals,
water conservancy, electricity, gas collection and control and other application
scenarios, its unique logic control function can easily realize automatic water supply,
fertilization, start and stop valves It is an ideal device for small automatic control
scenes.
KZ-02AL has RS485 interface, 2-channel DO relay output, 2-channel analog
acquisition input, 2-channel digital switch value acquisition, and supports 9~60V wide
voltage power supply.

3. Hardware Wiring
3.1 Power Supply Wiring
The module supports 9-60V working voltage (typical value: DC12V, DC24V)
①The module can be powered directly by the power adapter. The size of the
round head socket is 5.5*2.1cm, and the inside is positive and outside negative.
When using this method to supply power, all VIN+/VIN- of the device will also be
charged, which can supply power to active sensors.
②All VIN+ and VIN- interfaces on the module are also internally connected to the
power input interface, and any set of interfaces can also supply power to the device or
active sensors.
After the power connected normally, WORK light of the module flashes green;
network port light is always on in green and flashes in orange.
3.2 Analog Input Wiring
Two-wire analog sensor wiring:
The positive power of the sensor → VIN+ of the module;
the negative power of the sensor → ADI1 of the module,
as shown in the following figure:

KZ-02AL User Manual
6
Three-wire analog sensor wiring:
The positive power of the sensor → the VIN+ of the module;
The Negative power of sensor → VIN- of module;
The signal of the sensor → the ADI of the module,
as shown in the following figure:
Four-wire analog sensor wiring:
The positive of the sensor → the VIN+ of the module;
The negative of the sensor → the VIN- of the module;
The signal negative of the sensor → the VIN- of the module;
The signal positive of the sensor → the ADI of the module.
If the power of the sensor is large, it is not recommended that the sensor take
power from the module, and an additional power supply is required.
as shown in the following figure:

3.3 Digital Input Wiring
KZ-02AL has 2 channels (dry node access) for digital switch value acquisition.
The signal form is passive switch input.
If two-wire digital sensor, the negative of sensor needs to be connected to VIN- of
the module, and the signal line is connected to the DI acquisition port;
If three-wire sensor, the positive of sensor connect to VIN+ of the module, the
negative to VIN- of the module, and the signal wire to the DI acquisition port of
module.
Simple test: short-circuit DI1 and VIN- to achieve the first channel switch signal
acquisition.
3.4 Digital Output Wiring
KZ-02AL controller has 2 relay output interfaces. Each relay has 3 terminals,
NOX is normally open port, COMX is common port, NCX is normally close port.
Maximum operating current: 7A
Maximum switching current: 10A
The following figure is schematic diagram of wiring, that is, the two ends of fire
wire are connected to the NO and COM terminals of module respectively.
