1.2.1. Water / Moisture

This lighting is intended to indoor use only. To prevent risk of re or shock, do not

expose xture to rain or moisture. Make sure there are no ammable, explosive or

corrosive materials surrounded in 10 meters while operating.

1.2.2. Heat

The apparatus should be located away from heat sources such as radiators, stoves or

other appliances that produce heat.

1.2.4. Object and Liquid Entry

Objects do not fall into and liquids are not spilled into the inside of the apparatus for

safety.

1.2.7. Power Supply

Always make sure that you are connecting to the proper voltage and the line voltage

not higher than stated on the decal or rear panel of the xture. Unplug this apparatus

during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

1.2.12. Servicing

In case of failure or mis-function occurred, stop using the unit immediately. Never try to

repair the unit by yourself. Repairs carried out by unskilled people can lead to damage

or malfunction. Please contact the nearest authorized technical assistance center. Buy

the same spare parts/components from manufacturer directly.

1. BEFORE YOU START

Carefully unpack the box and check the contents to ensure that all parts are present

and in good conditions.

If anything damaged during transport, notify the shipper immediately and keep the

packing material for inspection. Again, please save the carton and all packing materi-

als. If the unit must be returned to manufacturer, it is important that it is returned in the

original manufacturer box and packing.

2. PRODUCT OVERVIEW

WDX-100 is a 2.4GHz wireless DMX512 interface for Soundsation PAR-18-4-BW and

PAR-10-5-BW; and allows them to be controlled without the use of DMX cables. The

system operates on 2,400-2,525 GHz license-free band and can be used on maximum

7 transmitter-receiver pairs, for a total of 126 DMX channels. Maximum distance is

400m (without obstacles). Setting it up is easy and immediate.

Working conditions:

LED constant lit up: no DMX or wireless signal.

Red LED ash: transmitting

Green LED ash: receiving

RF frequency: 2. 400-2. 525 G, total 126 channels

4.1. ID code and LED color correspondence

DMX data communication occurs only if transmitter an receiver are both under same ID

code. Each ID has a different assigned color as shown in next table.

6.2.2. Establishing Communication

1. Power on the DMX512 wireless receiver by using switch 2 on PAR-10/18W-5-BW

2. Power on SOUNDSATION WDX-100 Wireless Transmitter board

3. Press “Key” button to set same ID value on transmitter and receiver (please use

different ID values if you need to use more than 1 group wireless network at same

time in same place)

4. The LED on the transmitter turns red and ashes when it sends DMX data by no

interfered frequencies

5. If same ID value is set on both devices and there are no interferences, LED on

receiver turns green and ashes. The faster DMX data are, the faster it ashes

6. Then communication is established correctly.

5. WARRANTY AND SERVICE

All SOUNDSATION products feature a limited two-year warranty. This two-year warranty is specif-

ic to the date of purchase as shown on your purchase receipt.

The following cases/components are not covered from the above warranty:

• Any accessories supplied with the product

• Improper use

• Fault due to wear and tear

• Any modication of the product effected by the user or a third party

SOUNDSATION shall satisfy the warranty obligations by remedying any material or manufacturing

faults free of charge at SOUNDSATION’s discretion either by repair or by exchanging individual

parts or the entire appliance. Any defective parts removed from a product during the course of a

warranty claim shall become the property of SOUNDSATION.

While under warranty period, defective products may be returned to your local SOUNDSATION

dealer together with original proof of purchase. To avoid any damages in transit, please use the

original packaging if available. Alternatively you can send the product to SOUNDSATION SER-

VICE CENTER – Via Enzo Ferrari , 10 – 62017 Porto Recanati - Italy . In order to send a product

to service center you need an RMA number. Shipping charges have to be covered by the owner of

the product.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY – EU and EEA (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) only

This symbol indicates that this product is not to be disposed of with your household waste, accord-

ing to the WEEE Directive (2202/96/EC) and your national law.

This product should be handed over to a designated collection point, e.g., on an authorized one-

for-one basis when you buy a new similar product or to an authorized collection site for recycling

waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).

Improper handling of this type of waste could have a possible negative impact on the environment

and human health due to potentially hazardous substances that are generally associated with
