EtherFast®Layer 3

Management 2410/100 +

2 Gigabit Ethernet Switch

igrate your network to Gigabit speed with the EtherFast

1324 Layer 3 Management 24-Port 10/100 + 2-Port

Gigabit Ethernet Switch. Perfect for today’s large-scale

networkdemands,thisnew24-PortSwitchfromLinksys

forwards both Layer 2 and Layer 3 traffic, and delivers blazing

transfer speeds for all your network applications. Twenty-four

10/100 ports wire up your workstations, while the two integrated

10/100/1000BaseTX ports connect to your backbone at Gigabit

speeds for 9.6Gbps of pure non-blocking switch performance.

Layer 3 switches route packets based on IP address, so unlike

standard (Layer 2) switches, they can link different subnets with-

out the need for a router, and at much higher speeds. The

EtherFast 1324 Switch's Layer 3 switching and "intelligent"

design maximize your network's efficiency, regulating traffic with

802.1p traffic prioritization and partitioning your network by cre-

ating up to 256 VLANs using port-based 802.1q tagging.

TheEtherFast1324Switchprovidesbroadcaststorm suppression,

has hardware MAC and IP address learning, and supports packet

filtering and port security. All the ports support auto MDI/MDI-X,

soyou don'thaveto worry aboutcross-over cables. Configuration

is easy using its web browser-based management interface, the

console, telnet, or your favorite SNMP management program.

The EtherFast 1324 is the all-in-one managed solution for con-

necting your high-performance clients and a Gigabit backbone.
