CREATING YOUR PERSONAL ALARM CODE

The 4-digit keypad allows you to set a

personal code for arming and disarming

the alarm.

Remove the battery compartment

screw and slide off cover in the

direction of the open arrow.

Press the LEARN button once; the

red indicator light on the front of the

alarm will blink for 15 seconds. During

this time, input your 4-digit code. A

beep will confirm each input. The

unit will flash a green light 3 times

to confim your new 4-digit code has

been saved.

Replace the cover and secure screw.

INSTALLATION

The alarm is designed to be wall mounted

with the ball and socket mount (included).

The ball and socket mount will provide the

flexibility to aim the motion sensor in a

particular direction.

Choose your desired location, such

as the corner of the room. This will

provide maximum coverage. NOTE:

The sensor has a 15-20 ft. detection

zone, with approximate angles of 110

degree horizontal x 70 degree vertical.

Recommended installation height is 6

to 8 feet.

wall stud. Once installed securely on

the wall, slide insert bracket of mount

into the back of the unit and lock

in place. The mount will click when

secured to the alarm.

OPERATING IN THE ALARM MODE

Locate the ALARM/CHIME switch on

the side of the alarm.

Slide switch to ALARM mode.

Arming the Alarm

Arm the alarm by pressing your 4-digit

code. A beep will sound after each

button is pressed.

When the 4-digit code is entered

correctly the unit’s indicator light

will flash green once. If entered

incorrectly, the unit will sound and

the indicator light will flash red three

times.

A red light will immediately begin to

flash indicating the 45-second exit

delay has started. The delay allows

time for you to leave the protected

area without triggering the alarm.

When motion is detected, the alarm

unit will sound a short tone and a red

light will flash. The alarm will activate

in 30 seconds. The siren will sound

for 30 seconds (unless disarmed by

the remote) and then turn off. In 15

seconds the alarm will check for

motion. If motion is detected, the siren

will sound again. The cycle will repeat

until the unit is disarmed with the

remote.

Disarming the Alarm

When returning to the protected area,

simply enter your 4-digit code within

30 seconds to disarm the alarm.

When the fourth digit of your code is

entered, the unit will respond with two

tones and the indicator light will flash

green twice.

The unit will beep once if motion is sensed.

If the correct code is not entered within

30 seconds, the alarm will sound. Enter

correct code anytime after the alarm has

sounded to deactivate. NOTE: To test, a

cloth can be used to cover the alarm to

reduce risk of hearing damage.

Incorrect Code

If an incorrect code is entered the unit will

sound a louder beep and the indicator

light will flash red 3 times. Re-enter

correct code after indicator light stops

flashing.

OPERATING IN THE CHIME MODE

The chime is used to notify you when

motion is sensed in the area.

Slide switch to CHIME mode; the

chime will sound once.

Activating the Chime:

The chime will go off immediately

when motion is sensed. No code is

required. The motion sensor will retest

the area 15 seconds after chime

sounds.
