Machine Care 8)
• No load • Self-cleaning
1) This programme offers the most efficient use of water and energy consumption for crock‐
ery and cutlery with normal soil. (This is the standard programme for test institutes).
2) The appliance senses the degree of soil and the quantity of items in the baskets . It auto‐
matically adjusts the temperature and quantity of water, energy consumption and pro‐
gramme duration.
3) This programme is designed to wash heavily soiled items with high water pressure and at
a high temperature.
4) This is a programme designed to wash a load with normal soil.
5) This programme is designed to wash a load or a half load with fresh or light soil. It gives
good washing results in a short time.
6) The water pressure and temperature in the appliance are adjusted to provide the best
washing results and special care for delicate items and glassware.
7) This is the most silent programme. The pump works at a very low speed to reduce the
noise generated by the appliance. Due to the low speed, the programme duration is long.
8) This programme is designed to clean the inside of the appliance effectively and efficient‐
ly. It removes limescale and grease buildup. The programme should be run at least once
every 2 months with a descaler or a cleaning product designed for dishwashers and without
any load.

6.2 The water softener
The water softener removes minerals
from the water supply, which would have
a detrimental effect on the washing
results and on the appliance.
The higher the content of these minerals,
the harder your water is. Water hardness
is measured in equivalent scales.
The water softener should be adjusted
according to the hardness of the water in
your area. Your local water authority can
advise you on the hardness of the water
in your area. It is important to set the
right level of the water softener to assure
good washing results.
