Safety
• This product is intended for indoor use only.
• The product may be used by children of 8 years and
older and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capability or lack of experience and knowledge
provided they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of theproduct in asafe way and
understand thehazards involved.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed
by children without adult supervision.
• Unplug theproduct when it is not in use.
• The power cord should be checked regularly. Never use
theproduct if thepower cord or plug is damaged.
• The power cord must be changed if damaged. This is to
prevent therisk of electric shock or fire and should only be
carried out by themanufacturer, qualified service facility or
qualified technician.
• Keep children and pets away from thepackaging materials.
• Always unplug thepower cord before cleaning, servicing
or moving theproduct.
• Place theproduct where there is no risk of people tripping
over its power cord.
• Always plug theproduct directly into awall socket. Do not
connect theproduct to awall socket via anextension lead
or trailing socket.

• This product should only be connected to a220–240 V,
50 Hz wall socket.
• The product must never be used with atimer or other
equipment which turns it on automatically.
• Never place theproduct where there is arisk of it
falling into water or other types of liquid. Never use it in
thebathroom or other humid environments.
• Unplug theproduct immediately if it falls into water or if
water enters thehousing. Make sure that theproduct is
completely intact before using it for thefirst time. If you
have theslightest suspicion that theproduct is damaged,
have it inspected by qualified service technicians before
using it.
• Never use theproduct if your hands are moist or wet.
• Never use theproduct in areas where combustible or
explosive gases or liquids are stored.
• Never place any items on top of theproduct.
• Never cover or insert foreign objects into theair inlet or outlet.
• Do not place thepower cord where it can be crushed or
damaged by sharp edges.
Caution: Hot surfaces
The motor unit and telescopic rod will become very
hot during use. Always switch theproduct off and
let it cool before touching thesurfaces.

Assembly
1. Fit thedrip guard onto thelower section of
thetelescopic rod and insert therod into
therecess in themotor unit.
2. Push theleft and right arms of
thehanger into thecollar ring and
secure them using thesupplied
screws.

Instructions for use
1. Dress theballoon body with theitem of clothing/
garment. Make sure that theballoon body is not
twisted. If thegarment has buttons, they should
be done up. Shirts should be put on as shown
in thepicture, with thebuttons in themiddle and
thecollar around thecollar ring. If theballoon body
does not fill thegarment, thezips along thesides of
thebody can be undone.
3. Push theupper section of therod into
themiddle socket on thecollar ring.
4. Undo thetwist lock, set therod to thedesired length
and then tighten thetwist lock.
5. Pass theballoon body over
thehanger and attach it onto
theflange on themotor unit.
Make sure that it is sealed all
theway round.
2. Set thedesired drying time using thecontrol knob.
When theset time has elapsed, theshirt dryer will
shut off. Note: The shirt dryer will become very
hot during use. Fragile garments should be dried
carefully.

Care and maintenance
1. Unplug theshirt dryer from thewall socket and let it cool completely.
2. Clean theshirt dryer by wiping it with amoist cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
3. Store theshirt dryer in adark, dry and dust-free environment out of thereach of
children.
Troubleshooting guide
The product
does not work.
• Make sure thepower cord is undamaged and correctly plugged
into theproduct and aworking power outlet.
• Make sure that theproduct is switched on.
Unusual noises
from theproduct.
Check if theventilation openings or nozzles are covered
or blocked.
The product
shuts itself off.
• Check if theventilation openings or nozzles are covered or blocked.
• The product has anoverheating safety shut off. Let it cool down
and then try switching it on again.
• The product has atip-over switch which switches it off if it leans
or tips over. Stand theproduct vertically and switch it on again.
• Has theset operation time elapsed? Set thecontrol knob to
thedesired time.
Unusual smell. When theproduct is used for thefirst time it may emit astrange
odour. This is completely normal and will disappear after it has been
used afew times.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that theproduct should not be disposed of with
general household waste. This applies throughout theentire EU. In order
to prevent any harm to theenvironment or health hazards caused by
incorrect waste disposal, theproduct must be handed in for recycling
so that thematerial can be disposed of in aresponsible manner. When
recycling theproduct, take it to your local collection facility or contact
theplace of purchase. They will ensure that theproduct is disposed of
in anenvironmentally sound manner. The product should be disposed of
in accordance with local regulations. If you are unsure how to proceed,
contact your local council.
