Safety
• Theproduct may be used by children of 8 years and above
and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capability or lack of experience and knowledge provided they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of theproduct in asafe way and understand thehazards
involved.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 and under adult supervision.
• Theproduct must never be left unattended when it is pluggedin.
• Unplug theiron before filling thewatertank.
• Do not open thelid of thewater tank when theproduct is
switchedon.
• Theproduct is not intended to be used continuously.
• Theproduct must only be used and placed on astable surface.
• When theproduct is placed on its base, make sure that
thebase is placed on astable surface.
• Theproduct must not be used if it has been dropped on
thefloor, if it is visibly damaged or if it is leaking.
• Keep theproduct and its mains lead out of reach of children
under theage of 8.

Operating instructions
Before initialuse
Harmless smoke and odour may be emitted from theiron thefirst few times isused.
Thisis atemporary condition and is completely normal. Testtheiron for thefirst time
on anold piece of cotton cloth to check that both thesoleplate and thewater tank
areclean.
Refilling
Warning: Be careful when refilling theiron. Itcan be very hot afteruse. Makesure that
thehandle is fully raised.
1. Unplug theproduct from thewall socket.
2. Set thetemperature control to MIN.
3. Open thelid of thewatertank.
4. Use theincluded refill cup to fill thewater
tank with ordinary tapwater. Note: Inregions
where extremely hard water is common, it is
recommended that you use distilledwater.
5. Fill thetank to theMAX level and close thelid of
thewater tank securely.
Setting thetemperature
Check thefabric care instructions on thegarment
and select asuitable temperature. Thedots on
thetemperature control signify thefollowing:
• Synthetic material such as acrylic andnylon.
• • Wool, silk and synthetic fabrics such as
polyester andrayon.
• • • Material that withstands high temperatures,
such as cotton orlinen.
Ironing
Dry ironing
Warning: Make sure that themains voltage
corresponds with thevoltage set on theiron.
Otherwise use apointed object and change
thevoltage setting using thevoltage selector on
theback of theiron.

1. Thesoleplate becomes extremely hot duringuse. Neverleave theiron unattended
when it is plugged in or while thesoleplate is stillhot.
2. Plug themains lead into anearthed wall socket. Thefirst indicator light will comeon.
3. Set thedesired temperature. Theindicator light next to thetemperature control will
come on to show that theiron is heatingup. Whenthelight turns off, theiron has
reached thedesired operating temperature. Ifthetemperature drops below theset
temperature theiron will begin reheating and theindicator light will come onagain.
Steam ironing
Steam ironing is only possible at high temperatures.
1. Set thedesired temperature.
2. Set thesteam level (12).
3. Wait until theiron reaches operating temperature and theindicator light has turnedoff.
Ironing using thesteamshot
Thesteam shot function can be used for both dry ironing and steam ironing if
thetemperature control is set to ahigh temperature. Thesteam shot feature can help
you eliminate stubborn creases.
1. Hold theiron over thepiece of clothing.
2. Press thesteam shot button (max 2 seconds) until
thesteam begins flowing through theholes of
thesoleplate.
3. Release thesteam shot button.
4. As soon as you hold theiron horizontally it will
produce steam and you may begin ironing.
Note: Iftheiron produces drops of water, it may be
that theiron is set at too low atemperature. Adjust to
theappropriate temperature.
Afteruse
1. Let theiron cool completely.
2. Empty thewatertank.
3. Wind thepower cable around theneck of
thehandle and fasten it to thecable fastener on
thefront of theiron.

Cleaning thehousing
• Note: Unplug theiron from thewall socket before cleaning.
• Wipe theexterior with amoist, softcloth. Donot use abrasive cleaning agents
orsolvents.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of
with general householdwaste. Thisapplies throughout theentire EU.
Inorder to prevent any harm to theenvironment or health hazards
caused by incorrect waste disposal, theproduct must be handed in
for recycling so that thematerial can be disposed of in aresponsible
manner. Whenrecycling your product, take it to your local collection
facility or contact theplace of purchase. Theywill ensure that
theproduct is disposed of in anenvironmentally sound manner.

Användning
Före första användning
Första gången du använder strykjärnet kan det ryka lite och/eller avgelukt. Detär helt
normalt och upphör inomkort. Provstryk första gången på ettgammalt bomullstyg för
att kontrollera att sulan och vattenbehållaren ärrena.
Påfyllning av vatten
Varning! Tänkpå att strykjärnet är mycket varmt om du har använt det precis före
påfyllning av vatten. Setill att handtaget är helt uppfällt.
1. Dra stickkontakten ur vägguttaget.
2. Sätt temperaturreglaget på MIN.
3. Öppna locket för vattenbehållaren.
4. Använd den medföljande påfyllningsbägaren och
fyll på med vanligt kranvatten. Obs! Iområden
med mycket hårt vatten rekommenderas att du
använder destillerat vatten.
5. Fyll upp till maxnivån och sätt sedan på locket
ordentligt.
Inställning av temperatur
Kontrollera tvättråden på klädesplagget/tyget och
välj lämplig temperatur. Prickarna på temperatur-
reglaget innebär följande:
• Syntetiska material somt.ex. akryl ochnylon.
• • Ylle, silke och syntetiska material som
t.ex.polyester ochrayon.
• • • Material som tål mycket hög temperatur,
t.ex.bomull ochlinne.
Strykning
Varning! Förvissa dig om att spänningen ivägg-
uttaget stämmer överens med den spänning som
strykjärnet är inställtpå. Använd annars ettspetsigt
föremål och ändra spänningen på strykjärnets
spänningsomkopplare (9).
