HARDWARE INSTALLATION
1. Insert the battery
A. Remove the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the
case of the mouse.
B. Place the battery (“AAA” Alkaline) in the compartment
according to the diagram inside. (Note that incorrect battery
placement may cause the battery to overheat.)
C. Put the battery cover back on.
D.
Turn the Power On/Off switch on the bottomof the mouse to On.
E. The Low Power LED on the wheel bar will be on for 6 seconds
when the mouse is turned on.
F. Replace battery when LED indicates that power is low.

Note
The Tumi Travel Mouse features a batter conservation “Sleep”
mode when unused. Click any button to “awaken” the device.
Power on/off:
There is a Power On/Off switch to be used to conserve battery
power when the unit is not in use for a long period of time.
Use the DPI button to change resolution;
the LED on wheel will flash when the
DPI has been successfully switched.
2. Connect the receiver
A. Turn on your PC.
B. Connect the mouse’s receiver
(from bottom side of mouse) to
the USB port on your PC.

COMMUNICATION OPTIONS
Auto-link Mode
1. Make sure the Power On/Off Switch on the bottom of the
mouse is On.
2. Operate the mouse, and cursor’s movement indicates that the
mouse and receiver are connected.
Manual Mode
In the unlikely event that the auto-link doesn’t provide the proper
connection, you can use the software connection tool on the
included disc to reconnect the mouse and the receiver to reset a
new channel ID.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS
1. Make sure you have connected the mouse’s receiver to the
computer’s USB port correctly.
2.
Avoid operating the mouse on glossy or reflective surfaces.
3. Remove depleted batteries from the mouse immediately and
dispose of them properly.
4. Only use “AAA” alkaline batteries in the mouse.
5. Remove the battery from the device if it is not going to be used
for a length of time.
6. To reactivate mouse from “sleeping mode,” simply push any
button.

by our Limited Warranty.
Tumi’s warranty extends to the original owner; it is straightforward
and comprehensive, and just a part of the total Tumi ownership
experience.
TWO YEAR COVERAGE: YOU’RE COVERED FOR DEFECTS
For the rst two years that you own your Tumi product, Tumi will
repair any items that are defective in materials or workmanship (for
a nominal processing fee), including any structural defects (such
as defective handles, zippers, or locks). We will not cover damage
resulting from wear and tear that is not the result of defects in
materials or workmanship. Other damages not covered are damage
resulting from abuse, cosmetic damage (such as scratched leather
or stained fabrics) and incidental or consequential damages, such as
damage to or loss of the contents of a bag, loss of use, loss of time,
or similar expenses.

PROOF OF PURCHASE
Please save your store receipt as proof of purchase. This will be
needed to demonstrate your warranty coverage. Additionally, this will
serve as proof that your purchase was made at an authorized Tumi
retailer. Our Two Year Limited Warranty only applies to products that
were purchased from an authorized Tumi store or dealer.
This warranty gives you certain rights, and you may also have other
rights, which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
