Wireless control unit ICR6 and ICR8
(24 V~/230 V~)
Installation instruction
ENG
Mounting and installation, see picture 1.
• Loosen the screw in the centre of the connection unit.
• Remove the glass cover
• Loosen the two screws at the lower left and right corners of the unit.
• Remove the lower casing and attach the control unit to the wall using the
attached screws, you can also mount the unit on a DIN rail.
Connection of thermal actuators
• Connect the actuators to the desired channels on the control unit.
The channels C1 to C6 can have two actuators connected to the same
channel while channels 7 and 8 can have only 1 actuator connected.
Actuator configuration
• Check that the output voltage setting is set to 24V, (Pos. 1 picture 3).
• Check that the actuators output configuration is set to NC, (Pos. B picture 3).
Pump control
• If it is desired to control the circulation pump via the control unit the pump
should be connected according to picture 4.
• For the pump output to be active, at least one actuator needs to be open.
• An active pump output is shown with a green light.
ECO-Mode
• If an external clock or a GSM unit is to be installed with a time limited lowe-
ring of the temperature to a fixed value 12ºC (frost protection mode), the
connection is to be carried out according to picture 5.
Pairing the receiver with the room thermostat
• Press the memo button at the corresponding channel for about 0,5 sec. The
red diode then flashes rapidly. To cancel - press the button again.
• If you want more than one channel to be controlled by the same
thermostat, press the desired channel buttons.
• See the manual for the thermostat in question to find out which button on the
thermostat to press. When the connection has been made the light on the
control unit will go off.
•
It might take up to 15 minutes before the regulation is fully activated.
• To make sure that a connection between the desired channels and the
thermostat see the manual for the thermostat in use.
• To delete a programmed channel press the channel button for 10 seconds
until the light goes off. Now the channel is allocated.

Troubleshooting Solution
- No light is lit on the connection unit Check the fuse in the connection unit and the fuse that feeds the transformer.
- A channel light flashes rapidly (1 sek) Short circuit at a channel output. Replace the thermal actuator.
- A channel light flashes slowly (2 sek) The radio contact has been broken. Check the thermostat batteries and move the thermostat.
Check the connection again by pressing the button below the knob of the thermostat.
- Every light is flashing on the control unit Overheating protection mode. Make sure that the unit is ventilated and check for short circuit.
- The red channel light is on but the actuator is not working Check the cable for the actuator, the output voltage selected and the actuator function.
- The pump is not operating Check the cable for the pump and the function of the pump. All the actuators might be closed.
