Flue gas analyser

These brief instructions provide an overview over the most important functions of the

product. Before using the product you should absolutely read and follow the operating

instructions! This document describes the products testo 330-1 LL and testo 330-2 LL

with the instrument setting Country version | Great Britain.

Device connections

➀Sensor socket: Connect the sensor before

switching the measuring instrument on or, after

changing a sensor, switch the instrument off and

on again.

➁Flue gas socket: It is possible to change a probe /

sensor even while the measuring instrument is

switched on.

➂Mains unit socket

➃Pressure socket

Replacing the probe module

1Press the key on top of the probe handle and

remove the probe module.

2Plug in the new probe module and engage it in

place.

Emptying the condensate trap

The condensate consists of a weak mix of acids. Avoid contact with the skin. Make

sure that the condensate does not run over the housing.

Do not drain the condensate trap

while the flue gas pump is running!

1Hold the instrument with the condensate outlet

pointing up.

2Open the condensate outlet on the condensate

trap: Pull out approx. 5mm against the stop (➀).

➀➁

➃

➂

➀

3Let the condensate run out into a sink (➁).

4Dab off any remaining drops on the condensate

outlet with a cloth.

5Close the condensate outlet.

The condensate outlet must be completely

closed (marking), as otherwise measuring errors

could be caused by infiltrated air.

2Start measurement: .

- Draught zeroing (5s).

3Position the flue gas probe in the hot spot (area of the highest flue gas temperature).

The display showing the maximum measured flue gas temperature (FT max) helps

when positioning the probe.

- The reading is displayed.

4End measurement: .
