Electrical safety and cord handling
• Voltage: Make sure your outlet voltage and circuit frequency correspond to
the voltage stated on the appliance rating label. If it does not match, contact
our after sales support line and do not use the appliance.
• Electrical outlet: Insert the plug firmly into a properly earthed mains socket
that is within easy reach so that the plug can easily be removed if necessary.
Connect the appliance to a separate circuit serving only this appliance in
order to prevent overloading the house wiring circuits, which could cause a
fire hazard from overheating.
• Protect the power cord: Do not kink, squash or strain the power cord
and protect it from sharp edges and heat. Do not let the cord touch hot
surfaces when the appliance is in use. Care must be taken to ensure that
the temperature of the mains supply cable does not exceed 50°C.
• Damaged cord: Regularly check the power cord for damage. If the supply
cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a danger or injury.
• No extension cord: Do not connect the appliance to an extension cord or
plug adaptor.
• Disconnect: Remove the power plug from the electrical socket before
cleaning, servicing or maintenance of the appliance. Grip the plug when
disconnecting, do not pull on the cord.
General usage conditions and restrictions
• Domestic use only: This oven is designed for indoor domestic use only. It
can be built into a standard kitchen cabinet or housing unit.
• Intended purpose: Only use this oven for its intended purpose, in its
intended environment and as described in this manual. Any other use
may cause re, electric shock or injury. This oven is not intended for
commercial, industrial or trade use.
• Follow instructions: Make sure to observe all rules and provisions in
this instruction manual. Do not allow anybody who is not familiar with the
contents of this manual to operate the oven.
• Use common sense: These instructions are not intended to
cover every possible condition and situation. As with any electrical
household appliance, common sense and caution are therefore always
recommended when installing, operating and maintaining the oven.
