must be earthed or connected to an earthed supply. In the event of the fuse needing
replacement then a 13amp fuse approved by ASTA to BS1362 MUST be used.

BLUE - Neutral
BROWN - Live

Connect the BROWN wire to the terminal marked ‘L’ or coloured RED, Connect the BLUE wire
to the terminal marked ‘N’ or coloured BLACK, Connect the GREEN & YELLOW wire to the
terminal marked ‘E’ or coloured GREEN or GREEN AND YELLOW. If in doubt consult a suitably
qualified electrician.

Using your oven
Before using the oven for the first time or after storage, operate the oven at the maximum
setting for five minutes. Do not place any food in the oven during this period. Some smoke
may be generated, this is normal, and will burn off safely within a few minutes.
1.
Place the oven on a stable flat surface out of the reach of children and at least 25cm
away from the wall (at the back and sides).
2.
Plug into a suitable power outlet, ensuring that the cable is not overstretched or
could be accidentally caught.
3.
For baking, grilling or both, select the desired temperature (0C to 250C) using the
top control knob.
4.
Set the required switch to ON position, either bake, grill or both. The power
indicator lights on the switches will illuminate when the oven has reached the
desired temperature.
NOTE: the temperature must be selected first. The bake and grill switches will not
operate if the temperature control knob is in the OFF position.
Using your hotplates
1.
Turn the required control knob (middle=left hotplate, bottom=right hotplate) to
desired setting (0 to MAX).
2.
Place a pot or pan onto the hotplate and commence with cooking.
3.
Do not leave the hotplates ON without any pots or pans on them as this may cause
the hotplates to overheat and damage the elements.
The hotplates can be operated at the same time as the oven, but it is recommended that you
only use one hotplate at the same time as the oven to prevent your circuit breaker from
becoming overloaded. It is possible however to operate both hotplates and the oven
simultaneously.

Clean with a soft cloth, using it damp, if necessary, to remove minor stains.
4.
Do not immerse any part of the oven in water and ensure all external connections,
switches and sockets are kept dry.
5.
