Important: This product is intended for indoor domestic use, for frozen food storage only.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed:

Location and Air Circulation

feet until the appliance is as level as possible.
• Thisappliancehasbeendesignedtooperateinambienttemperaturesbetween16°Cand38°C.
• Itisnotrecommendedtoplacethisapplianceinaroomwherethetemperatureislikelytodrop
below 0°C for prolonged periods, as the internal appliance temperature will not be maintained.
• Theapplianceshouldnotbeplacedneartosourcesofheate.g.cookers,radiators,directsunlight
orinanyunheatedroomse.g.garages,orouthouses,asextremetemperatureswillaectthe
performance of your appliance.
• Donotexposetheappliancetodampconditions,openairorrain.
• Donotlifttheappliancebythepipesorthedoorwhenmoving.

Reverse the door
Theappliancedoorcanbettedtoopentoeithertheleftortherightdependingonitslocation.
The appliance will have to be tilted and supported in order to carry this out. It is advisable to get
some help during this procedure.
Important:Donotlaytheapplianceatasthismaydamagethecoolantsystem.Takecarewhen
ttingandtighteningscrews.

1.
To change the direction of the door, please follow these instructions:
1. Ensuretheapplianceisunpluggedandempty.
2. Removethe2Screwsonthebackofthetopcover(Fig1).
3. Lifttherearofthelidandpushforwardtoremovefromthefront
locators.Thetophingenowisaccessible(Fig2).
4. Unscrewthetopdoorhingelocatedonthetopofthedoorandthen
removethetophingethatisholdingthedoorinplace.(Fig3)
5. Withhelp,carefullytilttheunitbackwards
and rest the unit on something solid
to stop slipping.
6. Liftthedoorothehingepinandplacein
a safe place where it will not get damaged
7. Remove the bottom bushing and bottom
bushingcapandtthemontheopposite
side(Fig4).
8. Unscrewthebottomhinge(Fig5).
9. Removethelevellingfootandtonthe
oppositeside(Fig6).
10. Screw the bottom hinge on the opposite side
loosely(Fig7).
11. Carefully slide the door on to the bottom hinge pin.
12.Screwthetophingeloosely(Fig8).
13.Checkthefridgedooris
aligned horizontally and
vertically so that the seals
are closed on all sides.
14. Tighten the top hinge.
Useaspannertotighten
itifnecessary(Fig9).

15.Putthetopcoverbackandscrewitintoplace
securely(Fig10).

horizontally and vertically and that the seals are
closedonallsidesbeforenally
tightening the bottom hinge.
17. Re-adjust the levelling feet as needed.
18. Allow 5 hours for the appliance to stand upright before turning on the appliance to allow coolant
gases time to settle after the appliance is in place.

Before using your appliance:
• Thisappliancemustbelefttostandinanuprightpositionforatleast5hoursbeforebeing
switchedonforthersttimetoallowthecoolantgasestimetosettleaftertherefrigeratoris
in place.
• Beforeplacingfoodintheapplianceturnonandwait24hours,thisistomakesureitisworking
correctly and also to allow for the optimal internal temperature to be reached.
• Theinterioroftheapplianceneedstobecleanedpriortousebywipingwithasoftclothand
using warm water. Wipe the appliance completely dry before replacing any shelves or salad
drawers.
• Oncedry,plugtheapplianceintothemainssocket.
• Avoidopeningthedoorforlongperiodsorunnecessarily.
• Tomaintainadequateaircirculation,donotoverlltheappliance.
• Allowhotorwarmfoodstocooltoroomtemperaturebeforestoringintheappliance.
• Keepthefoodpacked,wrappedorcovered.
• Forhygienereasons,alwayswrapfoodusingasuitablepackagingmaterial,beforestoringin
your appliance to avoid contact with the surface of the appliance.
• Donotplacefooddirectlyagainsttherearwall.
Adjusting the temperature
• Thereare4Settings,theSetting4isthecoldest.
• Setting2istherecommendedsettingwhenoperatingatnormalroomtemperaturebetween
16°C and 38°C.
Fast Freezing
• Freshfoodshouldbefrozenasquicklyaspossible.Setting4makesyourapplianceoperateatits
coldesttemperatures(approximately-28°C)continuously.Ithelpstoquicklyfreezefoodasit
retains more of the goodness.
• Freezingwillbecompletedafter24hours.Afterfreezingyourfoodturnthethermostatcontrol
dialbackto2(-18°C).
• Itisnotrecommendedtofreezelargequantitiesoffreshfoodatonce.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Switchotheelectricalsupplyandremovetheplugfromthemainssocketbeforecleaning.
Interior
• Removeallfoodfromtheapplianceandcovertohelpkeepcool.
• Removeallthedrawerscarefullyfromtheapplianceandwashinwarmcleanwaterwitha
soft cloth and dry thoroughly. Never replace the drawers whilst still wet.
• Wipetheinterioroftheappliancewithadampcleancloth.
• Drytheinteriorthoroughlywithacleanclothandreplacethedrawers.
• Pluginandswitchonandallowthetemperatureintheappliancetodropbacktoan
adequate temperature.
• Replacethefoodintheappliance.
Important:Avoidgettingwaterintotheelectriccomponentsoftheappliancei.e.thethermostat)as
this may damage your appliance.
Defrosting
After a period of time frost will build up in the compartments. Regular defrosting will therefore be
necessarytomaintaintheeciencyoftheappliance.
The best time to defrost your appliance is when the amount of food stored is low.
To defrost the appliance, please follow the steps below:
• Takeoutthefrozenfoodandstoreinasparefreezer,applianceorwrapwellandstoreina
cool dry place.
• Unplugtheappliancefromthemainssupply,makingsurenottopullthecord.
• Leavethedooropen.Tospeedupthedefrostingprocess,bowlsofwarmwatercanbe
placed inside the appliance to raise the temperature.
• Placeashallowbowlorpanbelowthefreezercompartmenttocatchdrippingwater.
• Removetheicewithaplasticicescrapper.DONOTusepointedorsharpedgedobjectssuch
asknives,forksorscrewdriverstoremovetheice.
• Whenalltracesoficehavebeenremovedanddefrostingiscompleted,cleanawayanywater
and wipe your appliance dry.
Clean the appliance as described below:
1.Pluginandswitchbackon
2. Turn the temperature control to the Setting 2.
3. Allow at least 24 hours for the temperature to return to the adequate temperature
4.Putthefoodbackintotheappliance.
Important: Do not use any mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process
other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
Exterior
• Useaclean,dampsoftclothtowipetheexteriorsurfaceoftheapplianceanddrythoroughly.
• Useavacuumcleanertoremovedustfromunderneaththeapplianceandfromaroundthe
compressorwhichissituatedatthebackoftheappliance,regularlytomaintainadequate
ventilation.Usecautionnottodamagethecoolantsystem.
• Condensationmayappearontheoutsideoftheunit.Thismaybeduetoachangeinroom
temperature.Wipeoanyresidueandmoisture.
Important:Donotuseabrasivecloths,powders,householdcleaners,bleachorwaxpolishtoclean
theapplianceasthesecanleaveasmellintheapplianceandcandamagetheexterior.

Fuse Replacement
This appliance must be earthed. There are 3 screws on the plug, remove them
andopentheshell.Takeoutfuseandreplacewithanewfuseofthesame
Amp. Install the shell again and tighten the screws.
Door Seal
Useaclean,dampsoftclothtowipethedoorsealandinbetweenthecreases,avoiddamagingthe
doorsealasthiswillaecttheperformanceofyourappliance.
Going away
Ifyouaregoingawayanddonotwanttoleavetheappliancelefton,switchoatthemainssocket
andremovetheplugfromthemainssocketsensuringnottopullthecord.Removeanyfoodand
follow the cleaning instructions in the “Cleaning and Maintenance” section.
Important:Leavethedoorajarasthiswillpreventodoursandmouldaccumulatingintheappliance
and will allow the appliance to dry completely.
Power Cut
Intheeventofapowercutkeeptheappliancedoorclosedtomaintainthetemperatureinside.
Operating Sounds
Thecoolinggaswhichcirculatesinthecoolingcircuitmaymakeaslightnoise(bubblingsound)
even when the compressor is not running. Do not worry this is quite normal.
Ifthesesoundsaredierentcheckthat:
• Theapplianceiswelllevelled
• Nothingistouchingtherear.
• Thestusontheappliancearevibrating.
