This notice is very essential for correctly operation of the
equipment.
WEEE MA K
The used electric and electronic products, do not mix with general
household waste. There are separate collection systems for used electric
and electronic products in accordance with legislation under the WEEE
Directive (Directive 2002/96/EC) and is effective only with EU.
The power-supply (NEO-PS) cooperates with the 12V DC sealed lead-
acid battery (SLA, V L). After the operating period ends, the power-
supply shall not be discarded but recycled according to valid regulations
(of EU directive no. 91/157/EEC and 93/86/EEC).

WA NINGS:
• For safety reasons the equipment may be installed only by
qualified personnel.
• Prior to installation read the instructions. All installation
procedures should be performed with the power supply
disconnected.
• The power supply should not be switched on when the
external antenna is disconnected (operating the equipment
with the antenna disconnected may damage the transmitter
and will void the guarantee! ).
• It is not permitted to make any equipment alterations or to
service it by unauthorized personnel.
• The equipment should be protected from electrostatic
discharge.
• The equipment should be encased in a metal housing and EU
principles should be observed regarding: the power supply,
housing and shielding – according to application.
• The equipment emits an electromagnetic field and therefore
may disturb the operation of other radio equipment (i.e. ultra
synchrodyne radio receivers etc.)

2. PU POSE
T e alarm system build on t e basis of NEO/NEO-PS+ alarm controls panels, TPR-1 touc panel and
ot er additional devices are ideal for ousing properties and small commercial objects. A modern design,
c ecked tec nology of a touc panel wit an effective colourful LCD screen is excellent for most interiors and
rooms. An intuitive and easy interface causes t at alarm system operation as never been so easy as it is wit
TPR-1. T e touc panel in connection wit NEO/NEO-PS+ modules enables building a fully functional alarm
system. W ile using two panels we reactive system wit 20 inputs, 10 outputs, one area wit nig t mode and
one wit installed GSM communication and operation.
W at is more, NEO/NEO-PS+ central enables creating simple automation applications wit remote
control via SMS/CLIP.
Flexible functions enables using t em in systems in w ic is applied control of binary signals,
temperature, requirement of visual verification and sending information via SMS, VOICE, MMS, e-mail.

3.2 ADDITIONAL MODULES DESC IPTION
3.2.1 TPR-1: TOUCH PANEL (touc keypad)
TPR-1 touc panel is a modern operation and control element of alarm system. TPR-1 is based on
colourful TFT LCD screen wit a touc panel. T e casing is made of “INOX” stainless steel w at contributes to
solid and est etical design t at suits most interiors and w ic distinguis es device functions. TPR-1 enables
intuitive system control and operation, t anks to t e interactive interface w ic uses pictograms and text
guidelines, navigation and using functions is simple and does not require from a user to remember a function
code, e.g. nig t armed mode, blocking sensors. T e panel as four LEDs used for status signalization as well as
a bar of pictograms w ere is permanently presented all important information among ot ers armed mode,
power supply status, GPS range, GPRS, temperature.

3.2.2 FG -4: F AME G ABBE
T e module converts VIDEO SIGNAL into frames: JPG pictures (converting video signals for MMS and E-
MAIL protocol). Four VIDEO inputs (analogue, 1Vp-p, composite, blind) adjusted to color and/or black and w ite

(video camera) VIDEO signal. T e module is equipped wit JPG pictures quality regulation w at enables sending
four pictures via single MMS, 100kB max. Triggering alarm action is done by: VIDEO detection, MGSM inputs
and outputs. T e module enables saving a „frozen picture” onto SD card and its later reading via SMS order.
3.2.2 TS -1: TMEPE ATU E SENSO
Digital temperature sensor wit measurement range from -55°C to +125°C (+/- 1°C).
3.2.3 VS -2 : VOICE SYNTHESIZE
T is module is used to store and reproduce up to 16 radio announcements (8 x 16s + 8x 8s). It can be
additionally linked wit an audio module for listening-in on objects. MSGM 4.0 enables independent summing of
messages coming from a number of recordings (5), in t e event of violating/sabotaging t e input.
3.2.4 VS -1 : VOICE SYNTHESIZE
Module memorizes 20 second voice message.
3.2.5 AM -1: AUDIO MODULE
T e voice module is capable of replaying t e object audio during t e alarm or after establis ing t e
voice message. T e module s ould be connected to t e S-M input.
3.2.6 PS - F: THE BUFFE ED POWE SUPPLY MODULE WITH TWO CHANNEL ADIO CONT OLLE
T e extended PSR version wit built in two c annel radio controller for t e remote control of NEO
(utilizing t e control panel function). PSR-RF as an independent device can functionally replace any two c annel
radio link and a buffered 13.8V DC/1.3A power supply.
4. INSTALLATION
T e NEO/NEO-PS module s ould be installed indoors, w ere air umidity is normal (RH=90% max.
wit out condensation) and temperature in t e range of -10°C to +45°C. W en c oosing place of installation t e
following criteria s ould be taken into account:
- GSM network availability (of t e SIM card operator utilized in t e module),
- t e availability and distance of alarm signal sources and trigger signals (e.g. t e control panel),
- t e availability of power supplies or installation possibility of suc in vicinity,
- the MGSM 4.0 = 10V-14V/1A (min), buffered 13.8V DC power supplies
recommended (e.g. recommended dedicated PS or PS - F)
- the MGSM 4.0-PS = 17V-20V/30VA, (the 17V-20V/AC terminals are used for
connection the secondary winding of mains transformer: O- 2/3, O- H casings)
or DC power supplies recommended 20V-30V/1A min (e.g. PSU 24V DC)
- t e availability of t e premises to t ird parties and susceptibility to sabotage attempts,
- keeping safe distance from sources of potential interference (e.g. buildings, radio transmitters, etc. 230V AC
main power supply lines).
T e NEO/NEO-PS+ module s ould be mounted in a dedicated metal ousing:
- O-R1, O-R2, O-R3, O-R4, O-RH or ot er intended for GSM transmitter or control panel installation:
w en installing t e version wit out ousing,
- information and communication systems via t e DIN 35S bus: w en installing t e version wit ousing for t e
DIN 35S bus (NEO/NEO-PSO-RDIN casing).
4.1. MODULE COMMISSIONNING P OCEDU E
1. T e complete signaling and power supply wiring s ould be implemented.
2. Mount t e ousing and insert t e wiring t roug t e cable glands.
3. Install t e SIM card in t e module:
Insert t e card in t e SIMCARD socket in t e vertical position, wit t e
golden contacts of t e SIM card directed towards t e closer edge of t e
PCB board. T e marker (cut-out) of t e SIM card must be directed
opposite to t e direction of inserting.
4. Install t e module:
a) in t e - O-R1, O-R2, O-R3, O-R4 ousing on t e pins included
in t e kit,
b) in t e GSM transmitter ousings or control panel ousing on
t e self ad esive pins supplied wit t e module,
c) in t e information and communication systems ousing using
t e clip securing t e DIN ousing to t e assembly bus.
5. Connect t e optional additional modules: VSR-2, VSR-1, PSR, PSR-RF, FGR-4, AMR-1
6. Connect t e wires to t e appropriate module connectors.

7. Connect t e external antenna to t e FME-F connector.
8. Switc on t e module power supply.
9. Connect t e cable between t e service computer and t e RS TTL socket.
10. Configure t e module according to requirements.
11. Perform tests.
12. Disconnect t e wire form RS TTL socket.
REMARKS:
•Observe all possible precautionary measures against static discharge to protect the
electronic components.
•Do not switch on the power supply when the e ternal antenna is not connected.
•When installing in O-R2, O-RH and other dedicated housings, intended for using with
the mains power supply (with transformer), do not connect the N (“zero”) cable to
the PE grounding clamp of the 230V AC mains power supply. Connecting the N cable
to the PE clamp may damage the electronic components, as GND is then directly
connected to PE! If there is no separate grounding cable provided, the clamp should
be left disconnected.
•In pt. 2.b pins should be inserted in the module PCB board (4 pcs.) Remove the
protective foil from the adhesive layer, place on the inside degreased housing surface
and press lightly.
4.2. CONNECTING THE VOICE SYNTHETIZE O AUDIO MODULE.
T e NEO/NEO-PS+ module as a VSR socket intended for connecting t e VSR-2, VSR-1 and t e AMR-1 audio
or ot er (e.g. utilized in CCTV) voice synt esizer modules, provisioned for listening in on t e object.
•T e voice synt esizer can record and relay a voice command w en an event (alarm) occurs in t e
system. Replay is performed automatically after establis ing voice communication. T e message is
repeated cyclically until t e connection is terminated. T e voice synt esizer s ould be connected
directly to t e VSR connector and t e message recorded after t e power supply is switc ed on (built in
microp one). T e message is stored even after t e power supply is disconnected (disconnected
synt esizer).T e synt esizer as got a MINIJACK output for listening to t e recording.
•Listening in on t e object can be accomplis ed wit t e AMR-1 module, w en t e alarm is triggered or
w en a voice message is establis ed (connecting wit t e module from aut orized lines). To connect
t e MGSM 3.5/3.5-PS, MGSM 5.0/5.0-PS, VSR-2 and AMR-1 (or ot er) modules, t e 5-pin plug s ould
be used. T e connections s ould be performed, as in t e diagram, using t e microp one cable or
twisted UTP pair over small distances.
