Menu Options
*Look at the top right of the menu and the number out of 32 indicates which menu option you are on.
●1/33 – Set camera video resolution: Options are 2304x1296 30P, 1920x1080p 30p, 1440x1080p 30P, 1280x720 60P, 1280x720 30P, 848x480
60P, 848x480 30P, and 720x480 30P.
●2/33 – Set the Megapixels: This means setting the size of the photo. Options are 5M, 12M, 20M, 25M, 30M, 40M
●3/33 – Burst on / off: (Burst on allows to snap multiple photos at once upon pressing the photo button). Options are 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30
photos.
●4/33 - Record Cam: Allows to set the rear screen to show just external mini camera or to both mini cam & main camera when the mini cam is
plugged in - this setting allows the camera to record from both lens’ at the same time, put one on the front and one on the back (like eyes in
the back of your head)
●5/33 – Self Timer: Allows for a timed delay before a photo is taken. Options are 5, 10, 20, 30 seconds or 1 minute.
●6/33 – Quality (Photo quality): allows to change the quality of the resolution of the photos taken with the camera. Options are S.Fine (Super
Fine), Fine, and Normal.
●7/33 – Pre-record: A recording can start with up to 30 seconds of footage captured by the camera prior to starting a video recording.
●8/33 – Post record: After stopping a recording the camera will continue to record for the set amount of time. Press the record button a
second time to manually cancel a set delay. Options are off, 5 seconds, 1 minute, 10 minutes, 20 minutes and 35 minutes.
●9/33 – CarDV mode: Leave off as this is not a feature on this camera.
●10/33 - Auto-Record: When the camera is turned on the video will automatically start to record; on/off
●11/33 - Loop Record: When on, the camera will overwrite the oldest video on file with the most current video file once the memory is full.
o IT IS RECOMMENDED TO LEAVE THIS FUNCTION OFF.
●12/33 – Split Time: Automatically splits video recordings into segments of set times to more easily manage recordings. Each segment will be
a separate media file: Options are off and 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 30, and 45 minutes. The optimum recommended time is 15 minutes.
●13/33 – Slide Show: When viewing a photo file in Playback mode in photo files tab, photos will automatically be scrolled through.
●14/33 – Infrared: Manual or Automatic: While under dark circumstances, infrared LED will help record clear image or video in HD.
●Auto: In low light situations (3 Lux), 4 IR LED will be turned on automatically, camera switches to infrared filter lens, video image
turns black and white. When brightness increases again, the IR LED turns off, and the image becomes colorful again.
●Manual: When night vision is needed, Press the Flashlight/Infrared button to switch to infrared mode, 4 IR LED will be turned on,
video image will turn black and white. When night vision is no longer needed press the IR button to switch out of night vision.
●15/33 – Motion detect: When turned on, exit the menu to the main display screen and press record. Video recording will start if any
movements are detected and will continue to record if there is motion. If the camera does not detect a motion for 10 seconds, recording will
stop and only record again if there is motion detected. Stop this feature by pressing the record button again or turning this function off.
●16/33 – Record Warning: the voice/vibrating that advises the user that video recording has been activated. Options are On/Off.
●17/33 – GPS: Having GPS on allows connection to the GPS satellite to view the location of where video recordings, speed, date and time were
taken. Options are On and Off.
●18/33 – TimeZone: Default is set for GMT. This setting provides the ability to change the time zone the camera is set for. PST is -7, EST is -4.
●19/33 – Language: Allows the user to switch the language of the device.
●20/33 – Screensaver: Allows the user to set the amount of time before the device’s screen saver is on. Options are off, 30 second and, 1, 3,
and 5 minutes.
●21/33 – LCD Brightness: Allows the user to change the brightness of the device’s screen. Options are low and high.
●22/33 – Auto power off: Turning this function on will cause the device to turn off after the selected time when in standby mode. Options are
30 seconds, 1, 3, and 5 minutes.
●23/33 – LED Light: If on LED light will change colors depending on what the camera is doing (for example: recording). If off no LED indicators
will show.
●24/33 - White LED: Enables a white led to be used as a flashlight or as a flashing light (beacon)
●25/33 – Key tone: When this is on the user will hear a key tone when pushing buttons on the device. Options are on and off.
●26/33 – Volume: Altering this affects the device’s sound levels including key tone and video/audio playback files.
