Thebladesharpeningiscarriedoutwiththecutteron,
byloweringtheproperlever(1,Pict.8),untilthecutting
edgeoftherotatingbladeisreachedandtheexternal
edgeissharpened.
Tocarryoutagoodsharpening,lowerthelever
progressively(1,Pict.8),byavoidingabruptmovements
andanextremepressureontheleveritself,inorderto
protecttheemerywheelfromwearordamage.The
sharpeningproceduremustbecarriedoutcarefullyin
particularwhenawornbladeisreplacedwithanew
one.Inthiscase,anextremepressureonthesharpening
levermaydamagethecuttingprofileofthenewblade,
compromisingitscorrectuse.Therefore,wesuggest
adjustingtheemerywheelasfollows,afterassemblinga
newbladeonthecutter.
·Disconnectthedevicefromthepowersupply.
·Loosenthethreesharpenerscrews(2,Pict.9),
butdonotremovethem.
·Manuallylowerthesharpenersothattheemeries
comeintocontactwith thecuttingbladeprofile,
asshowninpicture10;thewheelsmustnot
penetrateintotheblademorethan2mm(Pict.
10).
·Manuallyrotatethethreadedbushes (3,Pict.9)
bybringingcloserthetwoemeriesandkeeping
adistancebetweenthemof1-1.2mm.
·Tightenthescrews(2,Pict.9)andsharpenthe
bladeaccordingto themodespreviously
described.
NOTE:duringthisoperationcheckthattheemerywheelsstartrotatingsimultaneously,
bringingnearormovingawayoneofthetwowheelsto getasimultaneous movementof
them.
Aftermanysharpeningoperations,thebladediameter
diminishesprogressively:inthiscase,thefoot(A,Pict.8)
must bebroughtagainnearthebladecuttingprofile.To
carryoutthisoperationdoasfollows:
·Disconnectthedevicefromthepowersupply.
·Overturnthecutterbyputtingthemotoron
theworkingsurface.
·Loosenbutdonot removethescrew(B,
Pict.11)andletthefootslidealongtheproper
groove,puttingitnearthebladeuntilitcomes
closetoit.
·Tightenagainthescrewbykeepingthefootinthisposition
(B,Pict.11).
