1. Product Overview
This chapter provides basic information about the QNAP device.
About the TS-855eU
The TS-855eU is powered by a high-performance Intel ® Atom® C5125 8-core processor, and features two
DDR4 SODIMM slots which can be scaled up to 64 GB of memory. The NAS supports connecting expansion
units through four native USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. Additionally, the TS-855eU supports SATA 6 Gbps
drives (backward compatible with SATA 3 Gbps), and is equipped with two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports and two
PCIe 3.0 x4 slots for various applications and expansion options.
