MPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. READ ALL NSTRUCT ONS
2. Check that your ains voltage corresponds to that stated on the
appliance.
3. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
4. To protect against electrical shock do not i erse cord, plugs, or
appliance in water or other liquid.
5. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or
near children.
6. Unplug fro outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to
cool before putting on or taking off parts.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a da aged cord or plug or
after the appliance alfunctions or has been da aged in any
anner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service
facility for exa ination, repair, or adjust ent.
8. The use of accessory attach ents not reco ended by the
appliance anufacturer ay cause injuries.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
12. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall
outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to off, then re ove plug
fro wall outlet.
13. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
14. Oversize foods or etal utensils ust not be inserted in a toaster-
oven as they ay create a fire or risk of electric shock.
15. A fire ay occur if toaster oven is covered or touching
fla able aterial, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the
like, when in operation. Do not store any ite on top of the
appliance when in operation.
16. Do not clean with etal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the
pad and touch electrical parts involving a risk of electric shock.

17. Extre e caution should be exercised when using containers
constructed of other than etal or glass.
18. Do not store any aterials, other than anufacturers
reco ended accessories, in this oven when not in use.
19. Do not place any of the following aterials in the oven: paper,
cardboard, plastic, and the like.
20. Do not cover cru b tray or any part of the oven with etal foil.
This will cause overheating of the oven.
21. To disconnect the appliance, put all knobs in off (or 0) position
and re ove the plug fro the wall outlet.

POLAR ZED PLUG NSTRUCT ONS
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit into the
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not properly fit into
the outlet at first, reverse it. If it still does not fit, contact a co petent
qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
SHORT CORD NSTRUCT ONS
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting
fro beco ing entangled in, or tripping over a longer cord.
Extension cords ay be used if care is exercised in their use.
• The electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least that
of the appliance. If the electrical rating of the extension cord is
too low, it could overheat and burn.
• The resulting extended cord should be arranged so that it will not
drape over the counter top or tabletop where it can be pulled on
by children or tripped over.

NSTRUCT ON FOR THE ASSEMBLY, USE AND
MA NTENANCE OF TOASTERS
Before any operation, read carefully the instructions and keep the .
The operations explained in paragraph 1, "instructions for asse bly",
are to be carried out by a qualified electrician and never by the
user. The anufacturer accepts no responsibility in case of failure to
respect these instructions.
1) NSTRUCT ON FOR ASSEMBLY
The installation operation ust be carried out by a qualified
electrician and according to existing standards. When the appliance
has been re oved fro its packaging, take off the adhesive plastic
fil that protects the steel parts. The glue residues ust be re oved
accurately (do not use abrasive products). Check, by adjusting the
feet, that the appliance is perfectly levelled on its base. The
appliance is set for alternating current operation at the power
indicated on the rating plate. In the power cord, the earth
conductor is arked by green-yellow colours. The appliance is
supplied with a cord confor to the power indicated on the rating
plate. If a direct network connection is required, place
agnetother ic switch on the circuit supplying the appliance.
The earth yellow-green cable ust not be discontinued.

Before connecting the appliance check if:
A) the agnetother ic auto atic switch and the installation can
stand the load of the appliance (see rating plate);
B) The electric installation is fitted with an efficient earth socket
according to the existing rules.
C) The socket or the switch used for the connection are easily
reached once the appliance is installed.
The anufacturer accepts no responsibility in case of failure to
respect these safety standards.
2) USE
A) BEFORE F RST USE
Before using the appliance for the first ti e, switch on the e pty
appliance for about 10 inutes to burn out the grease residual and
the ther al insulation residues that ay cause unpleasant s ells.
After this operation, clean thoroughly the appliance and the various
co ponents with a da p cloth and a non-abrasive detergent.
I portant: if you want to install and use your appliance on a
wooden surface or on a surface that ight be infla able, it is
absolutely necessary to contact the vendor or anufacturer to order
and install an adequate heat deflector.

B) USE OF THE TOASTER
The switches (2) allow you to use the upper and lower heating
ele ents. The central heating ele ents, on the other hand, are
auto atically activated by turning the ti er knob (1). To start the
appliance, press the desired switch and turn the ti er knob (1) to the
required cooking ti e (up to 15 in.).At the end of cooking ti e, all
ele ents turn off auto atically.
For opti al results, the cru b tray has to be filled with water, this
resulting in an easier cleaning of the appliance.
The toaster oven is equipped with grids that can be placed on
different levels.
WARN NGS:
Do not use the appliance with wet hands or barefoot.
Do not use any electrical extension without aking sure that it is
properly equipped for the load.
Never pull the power cord to disconnect the appliance.
Do not sub it the appliance to the at ospheric agents (rain, sun
etc.)
Do not leave the appliance unattended in presence of children.

3) CLEAN NG AND MA NTENANCE
Before any cleaning operation place the ti er on "0", turn off the
switches and unplug the appliance fro the electric network.
Once the appliance has cooled down, e pty the drip tray and
clean it with non-abrasive detergent.
Clean the steel parts of the appliance with a non-abrasive
detergent. Pay a particular attention to the inside of the cooking
cavity for a better heat reflection.
Use a da p cloth to clean the switches and knob. Do not use
etallic sponges to clean the grids.
Never wash it with a jet of water as this could lead to dangerous
infiltrations in the electrical co ponents.
The electrical components must be checked t by a qualified
electrician.

CONSEJOS DE SEGUR DAD

unidad no se encuentra en uso o antes de li piarla. Deje enfriar
el aparato antes de insertar o sacar accesorios.
7. No opere este y ningún aparato si el cable o el enchufe están
dañados, o después de que el aparato ha funcionado
inadecuada ente o ha sido dañado en cualquier anera. El
aparato debe ser ree plazado por el fabricante o por un centro
de servicio autorizado o por una persona si ilar cualificada.
8. El uso de accesorios no reco endados por el fabricante puede
causar lesiones.

ostrador o toque las partes calientes.
11. No coloque este aparato cerca de que adores de gas o
eléctricos, o dentro de un horno caliente.
12. Enchufe sie pre pri ero el cable al aparato y después en el
enchufe de la red eléctrica. Para desconectar el aparato, gire
los botones hacia la posición apagada y desenchufe el aparato.
13. No use este aparato ás que para lo que ha sido diseñado.
14. Los ali entos grandes o utensilios etálicos no deben
introducirse en el aparato ya que pueden crear el riesgo de
incendio.

15. Puede ocurrir un incendio si el aparato está en funciona iento y
se encuentra en contacto o cubierto con ateriales infla ables,
incluyendo cortinas, tapicerías, paredes, etc. No coloque ningún
objeto sobre el aparato cuando éste se encuentre en
funciona iento.
16. No li pie el aparato con esponjas etálicas abrasivas. Se
pueden ro per pequeños pedazos de las esponjas y pueden
entrar en contacto con las partes eléctricas, lo que puede
ocasionar una descarga eléctrica.
17. Debe tener extre o cuidado cuando use contenedores que no
estén hechos de etal o de vidrio.
18. Cuando esta unidad no se encuentre en uso, no al acene
ningún otro aterial que no sean los accesorios reco endados
por el fabricante.
19. No coloque dentro del horno ningún aterial infla able, tal
co o papel, cartón, plástico o cualquier aterial que pueda
incendiarse o derretirse.
20. No cubra con papel alu inio la bandeja para igas o ninguna
otra parte del horno. Ello puede provocar el recalenta iento del
aparato.
21. Para desconectar este aparato, coloque todos los botones en la
posición de apagado (OFF o 0) y desenchufe el aparato.
GUARDE ESTAS NSTRUCC ONES
NFORMAC ÓN SOBRE EL ENCHUFE POLAR ZADO
Para reducir el riesgo de choque eléctrico, este aparato tiene un
enchufe polarizado (una pata es ás ancha que la otra). Co o
edida de seguridad, este enchufe calza en la to a de corriente
polarizada de una sola anera. Si el enchufe no cabe total ente
en la to a de corriente, pruebe en el otro sentido. Si aún así no
calza, consulte a un servicio técnico cualificado. No intente anular
esta característica de seguridad.

NSTRUCC ONES DEL CABLE
El cable de ali entación del aparato es un cable corto a fin de
dis inuir el riesgo de accidentes (caídas al tropezar con él, etc.)
Puede utilizar una extensión si es necesaria.
• Asegúrese de que el nivel eléctrico del cable es igual o ayor
que el indicado. Una extensión con un bajo nivel eléctrico
conllevaría el riesgo de sobrecalentarse y de estropearse.
• Para evitar riesgos coloque el cable de for a tal que los niños no
puedan jalarlo o tropezar con él.
