2.1.1 Recommended Activities
●Do inspect all cabling and devices for signs of damage before use
●Do use properly rated power cables with this device
●Do use this device in a well-ventilated area, otherwise, it may overheat
●Do keep all fans and vents free from any obstructions
●Do keep hands and articles of clothing away from fans when operating this
device
●Do use hearing protection when operating this device
●Do wear an anti-static (ESD) wristband, or similar, during installation or
maintenance
●Do remove power when maintaining the miner, otherwise, damage may occur
●Do clean and dust the miner periodically, dust will block airflow to the
heatsinks and reduce the miners cooling capability
2.1.2 What to Avoid
●Do not attempt to use the miner if it appears to be damaged
●Do not handle the device whilst it is in operation
●Do not attempt to disassemble the device whilst it is in operation
●Do not use the miner in an enclosed or confined space
●Do not use the miner near coastal areas due to the large quantity of
saltwater content in the air
●This can cause corrosion of the electronics, which will lead to damage
●Do not use the miner where there are high levels of humidity or where
condensation is likely to occur
●Recommended humidity is below 65%
●Do not use the miner at high ambient air temperatures, this will lead to
damage and will reduce the lifetime of the miner
