AVVERTENZE GENERALI Fig.1

Installare in posizione verticale lontano da possibili infil-

trazioni d'acqua.

Installare lontano da eccessivefonti di calore (es.collet-

tori di scarico).

Installarelontano dallabobina d'accensionee passareil

cablaggio lontano dai cavi dell'alta tensione.

Realizzare delle buone connessioni elettriche evitando

l'uso dei "rubacorrente".

Si tenga presente che la migliore connessione è la sal-

datura debitamente isolata.

Non aprire per nessun motivo la scatola del variatore,

soprattutto con il motore in moto o il quadro inserito.

IlVariatore è già regolato per il funzionamento a Me-

COME E QUANDO DISINSERIRE

L'ANTICIPO IN DECELERAZIONE E AL

MINIMO

Su alcune vetture è conveniente togliere l'anticipo in de-

celerazione e al minimo, per evitare saltellii o funziona-

menti irregolari.D'altra parte l'anticipo serve immediata-

menteinfasedi accelerazione, permigliorare prestazio-

ni, consumi e ridurre al minimo il pericolo di ritorni di

fiamma.

Con il Variatore STAP 53 e STAP 54 l'anticipo si può

inserire o disinserire automaticamente collegando il filo

BLU-GIALLO delVariatore al potenziometro farfalla.

Per ilcollegamento seguireloschema specificoallegato

di ogni vettura.

NOTA:tralasciare l'operazione taratura inserimento an-

ticipo nel caso non si colleghi il filo BLU-GIALLO.

TARATURA INSERIMENTO ANTICIPO

Ilsegnaledelpotenziometrofarfallanon èsempre uguale

pertanto è prevista una taratura del punto di intervento.

La regolazione si effettua agendo sul registro intervento

anticipo nel seguente modo:

1) verificare che il registro sia ruotato tutto in senso ora-

rio;

2) con la vettura al minimo iniziare a ruotare il registro in

sensoantiorariofinché nonsi spegneil ledverde(antici-

po disinserito);

3) così regolato, accelerando il led verde sulVariatore si

riaccende per poi spegnersi quando si rilascia l'accele-

ratore.

excludes it and restores the original connection.

TO EXCLUDE IT PROCEED AS FOLLOWS:

The wiring plug is inserted in the WHITE connector of

the processor unit.

EMERGENCYOPERATION

Take the wiring out of the WHITE connector for normal

operation and insert it into the RED EMERGENCY

connector as shown in the diagram alongside.

TheTiming Advance Processor is already regulated

for the C.N.G. operation and advance always

connected.

HOW ANDWHEN DISCONNECTTHE

ADVANCE IN DECELERATION AND IN

IDLING POSITION

It is profitable to cut off the advance in deceleration and

inidlingpositionoversomecars,soas toavoidcontinuous

bounces or irregular workings. On the other hand, the

advance is immediately necessary in acceleration, to

improve the performances, consumers and to reduce to

a minimum the danger of backfires.

WiththeSTAP53eSTAP 54TimingAdvanceProcessor,

the advance can automatically be connected or

disconnected cabling the BLUE -YELLOW wire of the

Timing Advance Processor to the signal wire of the

throttlepotentiometer.Fortheconnection,seethespecific

drawing supplied for each car.

NOTE:Omit the connecting advance setting in the case

the BLUE -YELLOW wire doesn't connect itself.

CONNECTING ADVANCE SETTING

Thesignal ofthe throttlepotentiometer isnotalwaysthe

same,soit's foreseena settingforthe interventionpoint.

The adjustment is made operating on the register of the

advance intervention, as follows:

1) verify that the register is clockwise turned;

2) begin to turn anti-clockwise the register in idling car

position, until the green pilot will light off ( advance

disconnected );

3) in this way, while accelerating, the green pilot placed

on the Timing Advance Processor, lights again and it

lights off when you leave off the accelerator.

COMMENT ET QUAND DÉSACTIVER

L’AVANCE EN DÉCÉLÉRATION ET AU

RALENTI

Surcertains véhicules,il convientde désactiverl’avance

en décélération et au ralenti, pour éviter les ratés ou les

dysfonctionnements. Mais l’avance sert aussi

immédiatement en phase d’accélération pour améliorer

les performances, la consommation et réduire au

minimum le danger de retour de flamme.

Le variateur STAP 53 STAP 54 permet d’activer et de

désactiver automatiquement l’avance en connectant le

fil BLEU - JAUNE du variateur au potentiomètre de

l’accélérateur ou au débitmètre du véhicule.

Conformez -vous au schéma spécifique joint à chaque

véhicule.

NOTE :l’opérationd’étalonnagedel’activationdel’avance

décrite ci-dessous est inutile si vous ne connectez pas

le fil BLEU - JAUNE.

ETALONNAGE L’ACTIVATION DE L’AVANCE

Etant donné que le signal du potentiomètre n’est pas

toujourségal, l’étalonnagedupoint dedéclenchement a

été prévu.La mise au point s’effectue en agissant sur le

réglage du déclenchement de l’avance de la façon

1) vérifiez que le trimmer du déclenchement de l’avance

esttournéàfonddans lesens desaiguilles d’unemontre,

2) avec la voiture au ralenti, commencez à tourner le

trimmerdanslesens contrairedesaiguilles d’unemontre

jusqu’à ce que la diode vert s’éteigne (avance

désactivée).

3) ainsi réglé, en accélérant la diode vert se rallume

pours’éteindreensuitelorsquevouslâchezl’accélérateur.

OSERVACIONES GENERALES Fig.1

Instalar enposiciónverticallejosdeposiblesinfiltraciones

de agua.

Instalar lejos de excesivas fuentes de calor (por ej.

colectores de vaciado).

Instalar lejos de la bobina de encendido y pasar el

cableado lejos de los cables de alta tensión.

Realizar buenas conexiones eléctricas evitando el uso

del “robacorriente”.

Hay que tener en cuenta que la mejor conexión es la

soldadura debidamente aislada.

No abrir por ningún motivo la caja del Variador, sobre

todo con el motor en marcha o el cuadro conectado.

La regulación del anticipo se efectúa mediante 2

microinterruptores y trimmer situados al lado del

conectador del variador.

ESQUEMA PARA LA REGULACIÓN DEL

ANTICIPO

Los microinterruptores 1,2 tienen las siguientes

funciones:

N°1) Siestápuesto en

OFF

anticiposiempre insertado.

Si está puesto en

anticipo disinsertado bajo

las 1.100 r.p.m.

N°2) Si está puesto en

OFF

anticipo para G.N.C.

Si está puesto en

anticipo para G.L.P.

El Variador ya está arreglado para el funcionamiento a

G.N.C. y el anticipo siempre insertado.

CÓMOY CUÁNDO DESINSERIR EL

ANTICIPO EN DECELERACIÓNY AL

MÍNIMO

En algunos coches es conveniente quitar el anticipo en

deceleración y al mínimo para evitar saltitos o

funcionamientos irregulares. Por otra parte, el anticipo

sirve inmediatamente en fase de aceleración para

mejorar prestaciones, consumos, y disminuir al mínimo

el peligro de retorno de llama.

Con elVariador STAP 53 STAP 54 el anticipo se puede

inserir o desinserir automáticamente conectando el hilo

AZUL-AMARILLO del Variador al potenciómetro

mariposa.Paralaconexiónseguirelesquemaespecífico

unido a cada vehículo.

NOTA: norealizarlaoperación taradoinserciónanticipo

si no se conecta el hilo AZUL-AMARILLO.

TARADO INSERCIÓN ANTICIPO

La señal del potenciómetro mariposa no es siempre

igual, por lo tanto está

previsto un tarado del punto de intervención. La

regulación se efectúa actuando sobre el regulador

intervención anticipo de la siguiente forma:

1)Verificar que el regulador esté completamente girado

en el sentido de las agujas del reloj;

2) con el coche al mínimo empezar a girar el regulador

en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj hasta que se

apague el led verde (anticipo desinserido);

3) regulado de esta forma, acelerando el led verde

situado sobre el Variador se vuelve a encender para

apagarse cuando se suelta el acelerador.

WIE UNDWANN DIE VERSTELLUNG BEI

DER ABBREMSUNG UND IM LANGSAM-

LAUF AUSGESCHALTETWERDEN MUß

Bei einigen Fahrzeugen lohnt es sich zurVerhinderung von

SprüngenoderunregelmäßigenBetriebsweisen,dieVerstel-

lungbeim Abbremsenund imLangsamlauf auszuschalten.

AllerdingswirddieVerstellunginderBeschleunigungsphase

sofort wieder notwendig, um die Leistungen und der Ver-

brauch zu optimieren und die Gefahr von Flammen-

rückschlägen auf ein Minimum herabzusetzen.

Der STAP 53 STAP 54 Regler erlaubt das automatische

Ein-undAusschaltenderVerstellung,wozuderBLAU-GEL-

BER Leiter des Reglers an das Drosselpotentiometer oder

den Luftdurchlaßmesser des Fahrzeuges angeschlossen

werden muß.

RichtenSiesichbeimAnschlußbittenachdemspezifischen,

für jeden PKW beigelegten Plan.

Merke: lassen Sie die Einstellung der Verstelleinschaltung

aus, wenn der BLAU-GELBER Leiter nicht angeschlossen

wird.

EINSTELLUNG DER

VERSTELLEINSCHALTUNG

Das Signal des Drosselpotentiometers und des Luftdurch-

laßmessers ist nicht immer das selbe; daher ist eine Ein-

stellungdesEinschaltpunktesnotwendig.BeidieserEinstel-

lung muß der Einsteller derVerstelleinschaltung folgender-

maßen bedient werden:

1) prüfen Sie, daß der Einsteller ganz nach rechts gedreht

ist;

2) beginnen Sie dann im Langsamlauf, den Einsteller nach

linkszu drehen,bisdie grünerLed erlischt(Verstellungaus-

geschaltet);

3) bei dieser Einstellung wird beim Beschleunigen die grü-

ner Led auf dem Regler wieder aufleuchten und beim Los-

lassen des Gaspedals erlöschen.
