Introduction
The Kinivo 450BNT 4K 60Hz HDMI Switch With Toslink
enables up to four HDMI source devices (such as the DVD
player, cable box, game console etc.) to be connected
to a single HDMI input port on your HDTV or projector,
while the audio is extracted through Toslink. It can be

used to expand the number of HDMI ports on a single
input HDMI equipped display with Toslink capability. It is
an easy, convenient and inexpensive solution to expand
your home theater setup.
Important Safety Instructions
Please read instructions carefully before
operation
1. To prevent risk of electric shock, do not remove
cover of the unit. Refer all servicing to qualied
service personnel only.
2. Do not use the device near water.
3. Clean only with dry cloth.
4. Do not install or place this unit in a bookcase, built-
in cabinet or in any other conned space. Ensure the
unit is well ventilated.
5. To prevent risk of electric shock or re hazard, do not
block the unit’s ventilation openings.
6. Do not install near any heat sources such as
radiators, stoves, heat registers etc.
7. Unplug during lightning storms or when unused for
a long period of time.
8. Protect power cord from being pinched, particularly

near plug points.
9. Only use attachments/accessories specied by
manufacturer.

Remote Control
1. Select a specic HDMI Input by choosing 1, 2, 3, or 4.
2. Cycle the HDMI Inputs using the“Select”.
3. Pressing the “Auto Switching” turns the Auto
Switching on or o.
4. Pressing the“ARC” turns the ARC“on”or “o”.

Note:
1. The remote control uses infrared light signal and
requires direct line-of-sight to the IR Remote Sensor.
Please make sure that the IR Remote Sensor is not
blocked.
2. Please remove screw before opening the battery
bay to replace the remote’s battery.
Setup
1. Connect the output port of the HDMI Switch to
HDTV or Projector using a HDMI cable (Note: HDMI
cable is not included).
2. Connect Devices (Game Console, DVD Player,
Streaming Media Player, etc) to the input ports on
the HDMI Switch.
3. Repeat the above step to connect your Cable Box,
DVD Player, Streaming Media Player, etc.
4. Connect a Toslink cable to the Toslink Port of HDMI
Switch and the other end to the Sound System.
5. Plug the included power adapter to the HDMI
Switch and connect it to a AC power outlet.
