Please inspect all equipment carefully right after unpacking. If you find any damages, contact your supplier
or dealer immediately. Only a shipper may file a damage claim as a carrier for damages which have been
incurred during shipping. Be sure to keep carton boxes and other all packing materials for the carrier’s
inspection. If your packing materials are in good condition, please keep them. If you ever need to return
the unit to INKEL PA or an authorized service center, you should use only the original factory packing.

This lightening flash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the
user to the presence of non insulated “dangerous” voltage within the product’s enclosure that may
be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
This exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence
of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instruction in the literature accompanying the
products.

Safety Instruction
1. Read these instructions.

5. Do not use this apparatus near water.
6. Clean only with dry cloth.
7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including
amplifiers) that produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one
wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third
prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for
replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the
point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus.
When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in
any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the
apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

Features
* SPEAKER LINE SWITCHING
Controls speaker relay via standard two-wire system or via three-wire emergency system.
* INTEGRATES WITH OTHER INKEL PA PRODUCTS
The speaker output is provided emergency speaker lines of operating by 3-wire system and normal speaker lines of
operating by 2-wire system.
Designed to work exclusively with the Inkel PA IPX-8116 Matrix Switcher, IEP-8251 Emergency Panel.
IPX-8116 Matrix, IPT-8254 Program Timer, and IES-8116 Emergency Switcher.
* BROADCAST STATUS INDICATOR
Front panel LED indicators display current operating status.

1. STAND-BY LED
This LED indicates power supply condition of this unit.
Lights when the unit is powered on.
2. CIRCUIT OPERATION LED
This LED indicates speaker lines in emergency or
during normal broadcasting.
It shows operation statue of broadcasting zone.
Front Panel
1. DC POWER INPUT TERMINAL (+24V)
This is a terminal to connect DC power (DC +24V).
Ensure +, - polarity when you connect.
2. DC POWER OUTPUT TERMINAL
This is a DC power output terminal (DC +24V) and it is
connected with DC input terminal of external device.
(EMERGENCY MODEL).
3. HOT TERMINAL
This terminal is connected to HOT terminal of main
amplifier output.
4. COM TERMINAL
This terminal is connected to COM terminal of main
amplifier output.
5. SPEAKER OUTPUT CONNECTOR
This connector is connected to speakers and it is
consisted of HOT, COM, and EM terminal.
6. NORMAL RELAY CONNECT TERMINAL
It is connected to NORMAL RELAY connector of
MATRIX (our model, IPX-8116).
7. EMERGENCY RELAY CONNECT TERMINAL
It is connected to EMERGENCY RELAY connector of
MATRIX (our model, IPX-8116).

Precaution for RACK Assembling
1. Turn off the all power of system.
2. Check (+), (-) terminal of output and then connect speaker line.
3. Connect emergency power of IPD-8329 to DC input terminal on the rear panel.
4. Connect NORMAL RELAY and EMERGENCY RELAY connector on the rear panel and NORMAL RELAY and
EMERGENCY RELAY connector on the rear panel of our model, IPX-8116.
5. Connect AMP output(our model IPA-8312 series) to AMP input (HOT), (COM).
Before connecting it, be sure about HOT and COM.
6. Connect output (CH1~CH16) connector to speaker by referring table 1, 2
