The HEIMEIER Mikrotherm manual
radiator control valve is used in warm
water pump heating systems and grav-
ity or low-pressure steam systems. The
double spindle with the Mikrotherm con-
trol cone can be preset to enable exact
hydraulic balancing. The Mikrotherm
valve can be converted to a thermostatic
valve by replacing the Mikrotherm insert
by a thermostatic insert.
Usage
1. Close the valve by turning in clockwise
direction.
2. Undo hand wheel retaining screw.
3. Use a screwdriver to screw in the control
pin as far as it will go (clockwise).
4. Determine the presetting with the aid of
the diagrams and turn the pin in anti-
clockwise direction accordingly.
5. Fit hand wheel retaining screw and
tighten.
Notes:
–Loosen and tighten the Mikrotherm insert
only with the valve open.
– After testing the system for the first time,
check DN 32 stuffing box union nut and
retighten if necessary.
Use a commercially available adjustable
radiator wrench to install the screw
connection.
Prior to installation, the thread of the dou-
ble connection fitting and of the pipe must
be sealed correctly.
Flush the pipes before starting up the
heating system. The manual radiator
valves must be completely open when
filling the system to ensure that no dirt
particles can collect in the valve seat.
Assembly
Locking, presetting
La vanne de réglage Mikrotherm de
HEIMEIER est utilisée dans les installa-
tions de chauffage à eau chaude pompée,
les installations à gravité ou à basse pres-
sion actionnées par vapeur. La double
tige sans élévation équipée du cône de
réglage Mikrotherm permet l’équilibrage
hydraulique par préréglage. Mikrotherm
est convertible dans une vanne thermos-
tatique en remplaçant l’insert Mikrotherm
par un insert thermostatique.
Application
1. Fermer la vanne en tournant vers la droite.
2. Dévisser la vis de fixation du volant à
main.
3. Visser la tige de réglage avec un tour-
nevis, en tournant dans le sens des
aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à la butée.
4. Le préréglage sera déterminé en obser-
vant les diagrammes et réalisé par rotation
vers la gauche.
5. Insérer et visser à fond la vis de fixation
du volant à main.
Remarques :
–Ne desserrer ou serrer à fond l‘insert
Mikrotherm qu’avec la vanne ouverte.
– Après le premier essai de chauffe avec
DN 32, contrôler l’écrou-raccord de
presse-étoupe et le resserrer le cas
échéant.
Utiliser une clé pour l’installation de radia-
teurs courante pour visser le raccordement.
Il est nécessaire d’étanchéifier correcte-
ment les filetages du raccordement et de la
tuyauterie avant de procéder au vissage.
Rincer la tuyauterie avant de mettre l’ins-
tallation de chauffage en service. Lors du
remplissage de l’installation, les vannes de
réglage doivent être entièrement ouvertes
pour éviter le dépôt d’éventuelles particules
de saleté sur le siège de la soupape.
Montage
Blocage, préréglage
De HEIMEIER Mikrotherm regelklep wordt
toegepast in pomp-warmwater-verwar-
mingsinstallaties, stoominstallaties met
natuurlijke circulatie of stoominstallaties met
lage druk. Dankzij de dubbele niet-stijgende
spindel met de Mikrotherm-regelkegel is
een hydraulische afstelling door middel van
voorinstelling mogelijk. Door het Mikroterm-
bovendeel te vervangen door een thermo-
statisch bovendeel kunt u de Mikroterm
veranderen in een thermostaatklep.
Gebruik
1. Sluit de klep door hem naar rechts te
draaien.
2. Draai de bevestigingsschroef van het
handwiel los.
3. Draai de regelstift met een schroeven-
draaier met de klok mee in tot aan de
aanslag.
4. De voorinstelling dient met inachtneming
van de diagrammen bepaald en door
linksom draaien uitgevoerd te worden.
5. Plaats de bevestigingsschroef voor het
handwiel en draai hem vast.
Opmerkingen:
– draai het Mikrotherm-bovendeel alléén bij
geopende klep los en vast.
– na de eerste proefdraai van de verwar-
ming dient u bij DN 32 de wartelmoer van
de stopbus te controleren en zonodig aan
te draaien.
Het inschroeven van de schroefverbinding
voor de aansluiting geschiedt met een gang-
bare trapsleutel.
De schroefdraden van de schroefverbinding
voor de aansluiting en van de buisleiding
moeten vóór het inschroeven vakkundig van
afdichtingsmateriaal worden voorzien.
Buisleidingen moeten vóór de ingebruikname
van de verwarmingsinstallatie worden doorge-
spoeld. Bij het vullen van de installatie moeten
de radiator-regelkleppen volledig geopend
worden, zodat eventuele vuildeeltjes niet in de
klepzitting kunnen blijven hangen.
