Imation PRO 2.5 16GB Manuel utilisateur

leading through innovation

The Imation Solid State Drive PRO 7000 powered by Mtron uses industry-leading

solid state storage and controller technology to provide an ideal solution for

enterprise, corporate and IT infrastructure applications with extreme performance

needs. An Imation Solid State Drive (SSD) emulates a hard disk drive (HDD), but

has no motors or moving parts, providing faster and more reliable data storage than

traditional HDDs and with reduced heat and noise generation.

Featuring Mtron’s ultra high speed internal data bus, the PRO 7000 delivers

extremely high sustained read and write speeds, impressive input and output

operations per second (IOPS) performance and virtually no seek time. Backed by

Imation’s more than 50 years of data storage experience, the PRO 7000 is ideal

for custom or embedded systems and applications with extreme performance

requirements such as high-performance storage arrays, database servers, Web

servers and other network appliances.

The PRO 7000 leverages Mtron’s controller technology leadership to deliver

improved efciency by accelerating drive-intensive applications, reducing overall

power consumption and enhancing lifetime reliability. Supported by Imation’s

proven storage and technology service expertise, the PRO 7000 is easy to

upgrade, easy to install and easy to use.

Highlights

Features & Benefits

Superior Performance – Improved read/write performance and substantially faster

IOPS enables optimum drive performance and high reliability.

Enhanced Lifetime Reliability – Imation SSDs deliver superior performance in a

lightweight, power-efcient design. With mean time between failures (MTBF) of

one million hours the PRO 7000 provides outstanding product reliability. Advanced

wear-leveling technology with a 7-bit error correction code (ECC) works to extend

lifetime performance to ensure data integrity.

Environmental Endurance – Designed for continued use in harsh environments,

the rugged solid state design is highly resistant to shock and temperature

extremes. Extremely low power consumption helps to reduce energy usage and

lower overall operating costs.
