This document describes the means of physica interconnection between the Wanderbox
and the various te ecom networks at the wiring eve .
The document provides recommended ine protection mechanisms and specified c asses
of device that shou d be used to provide adequate surge protection.
Refer to the “Com.X-Administrators Guide” for detai ed information on p atform
configuration, management and monitoring.

2.2 Enclosure Description
Wanderbox is supp ied in one format, which supports ISDN, ana ogue connectivity and an
additiona LAN interface
2.2.1 Wanderbox format
The Wanderbox is a desk mount stackab e device, which provides connections to three
different sites: PBX, PSTN and Ethernet LAN
The Wanderbox front pane inc udes a power button accompanied with LED.
The Wanderbox back pane inc udes power jack and severa connection inputs.
The Wanderbox side pane if popu ated with a ine card has a sing e status LED or the
optiona LAN with dua status LED.
The Wanderbox Duo can a so accommodates the inc usion of an ACM card with a status
LED and power and transmit LEDs on the ports.
