Power Interface For powering up the device.

•Power On: Click the button.
•Power Off: Press and hold the button until you hear a beep.
•Reboot: Press and hold the button for 10 seconds.
SIM Card You should purchase separately.Initialize the card in the EZVIZ app before using it.

Preparation
1Install SIM card (Optional)
- Insert the ejection pin into the pin hole until the card tray pops out.
- Put the SIM card in the tray.
- Put the tray back.

• If you have inserted a SIM card when the device is powered on, please hold the power button for 10 seconds
to reboot the device.
• You can use the SIM card (purchase separately) to access the Internet.
• If your data plan provided by the carrier only includes limited mobile data, communication duration, etc.,
please pay attention to the amount of data and/or communication duration when using this device so as to
avoid overuse.
• You can also follow Step 2.2 to connect it to the Internet via router.
2Power-on
Plug the power cable into the device, and then plug the power adapter into an outlet as shown in the figure
below. When the device is starting up, the LED indicator will turn red.

Quick Settings
1Device Setup
1. Create a user account
- Connect your mobile device to the Internet.
- Download and install the EZVIZ app by searching “EZVIZ” in App Store or Google PlayTM.
- Launch the App and register an EZVIZ user account.
2. Add a device to EZVIZ
- Log in the EZVIZ app.
- At the Home screen, tap “+” on the upper-right corner to go to the scanning QR code interface.

- Scan the QR Code on the cover of this manual or at the bottom of the device.
- Follow the EZVIZ app wizard to finish Wi-Fi configuration.
• Please make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi from the router for Wi-Fi configuration.
• Make sure the mobile phone is connected to the Wi-Fi and the device has not connected to any Wi-Fi yet,
or the connection will be failed.
• The distance between the device and the mobile phone should be no further than 50 cm.

You can also select wired connection.
Step 1: connect the device to the LAN Interface of your router with a network cable.
Step 2: add the device to EZVIZ app by scanning the QR Code on the cover of this manual or at the bottom of the
device.

Adding Detectors
1Enabling the Adding Detectors Mode
Single click the setting button and the voice prompt of the adding detectors mode is to start.
2Adding Detectors
Take the detector close to the device (within 50cm) and trigger alarm manually. A voice prompt of
the type of the detector starts indicating the corresponding detector is added (up to 32 detectors
are allowed).

3Disabling the Adding Detectors Mode
Single click the setting button to disable the adding detectors mode after all the detectors are added.
The Adding Detectors Mode will be disabled if no operation occured in 3 minutes.
Mounting (Optional)
The device can be mounted on the wall.
• Make sure the wall is strong enough to withstand three times the weight of the device.
• The installation surface should be clean and flat.
1. Place drill template onto the surface you have chosen to mount the device.
2. (For cement wall only) Drill screw holes according to the template and insert three expansion screws.
3. Use three metal screws to fix the device base according to the template.
4. Install the device on the base, and turn it 15° to secure it.

5. Connect the power cable to the device. If the device was previously connected to the Wi-Fi network, it will
automatically connect to the same Wi-Fi network.
