1 Introduction
1.1 Safety instructions
This document contains important warnings and safety instructions
which must be observed and followed by users. Failure to follow
these warnings and safety instructions will put the fault-free opera-
tion of the RF Radiator Thermostat at risk.
1.2 Intended use
The RF Radiator Thermostat has been designed solely for resi-
dential use in private homes and office applications. It is not
suitable for industrial use.
The RF Radiator Thermostat is used to control standard radiator
valves. The device may only be operated indoors and must be pro-
tected from the effects of damp and dust, as well as solar radiation
and sources of radiant heat.
Use of the unit for any purpose other than described in this docu-
ment or failure to observe the warnings and safety instructions it
contains will immediately invalidate any claims in respect of war-
ranty and/or liability.
The same shall apply in the event of any conversion or modifica-
tions.
The device concerned is not intended for children and may not be
used as toy. Do not open the device: it does not contain any com-
ponents that need to be serviced by the user.

Electronic equipment must be disposed of at local collec-
tion points for waste electronic equipment in compliance
with local directives governing waste electrical and electro-
nic equipment.
1.4 About this document
These operating instructions are intended for end users and
describe the operation and menu structure of the RF Radiator
Thermostat.
1.5 Insert (Replace) the batteries
1) Remove the battery pocket cover
2) Insert 2 new LR6 batteries (Mignon/AA) into the battery
pocket, ensuring they are the right way round
3) Reattach the battery pocket cover and click into place.
New alkaline batteries have a life of approximately two years. A
