1 Stop Circuit Open
Stop circuit-120 (Speed regulator, parachute contact,
stop buttons…) is cut during motion.
Cause
Troubleshooting
1. During startup, check if the rectifier connections are tight
move the faston connectors.
2. Check the input of the rectifier at 55Vac from transformer and
the output 48Vdc.
3. If you have folding buers, check the door contacts (LHI for
low headroom is located to all floor doors except bottom floor
and LPI is for low Pit and is located to the bottom floor door
contact) and the safety relays led condition. they must have
3 leds lit each safety relay. The safety relay is activated if you
press RST button while the low pit and low headroom contacts
are closed (doors closed)
TIP: Check electrical drawings pages 2-5-7

6 Pass Time Overflow
Pass Time Overflow 1-At fast speed, system cannot not
get new floor data within the time period defined at
[C08]. 2-At slow speed, system could not reach floor
level within the time period defined at [C09].
Cause
Troubleshooting
1. If you have counter with magnets, check the pencil switches MKU-
MKD. replace them if needed
2. If you have counting with pulses, then check if your pulses increase or
decrease abnormally. try to disconnect and reconnect encoder cable
connections both sides (motor-inverter)
3. Check if your RU-RD-RF-RH relays activate from the main board for
any combination of movement.
RU = relay UP Direction / RD = relay DOWN Direction / RF = relay FAST
SPEED / RH = relay HIGH SPEED. All these commands are giving to the
inverter the direction and the speed to move with a combination that
the main PCB decide.
4. Confirm that the maximum speed of the cabin is equal to the installa-
tion speed. If prelimits set to a position for 1m/s but the actual speed is
0,7m/s then this error may occur.
5. Check the prelimit switches height. The prelimits for 1m/s must set to
1,4m upper bottom floor level and same for higher prelimit 818.
6. If it is a traction lift, check if R140 relay gets active.
TIP: Check electrical drawings pages 3-12-13

7 Door Cannot Open
After any door open command door contacts are not open within
the period defined at [C04] for door A or [C34] for door B.
Cause
Troubleshooting
1. Check if the lift had a power down. if yes then increase the
timers.
2. Check if the hook of the car door mechanism stuck - obstruct
to the hanging position. fix the hook and the base that the hook
insert position.
3. If you have 2 doors, check if the safety line and the door com-
mands are connected to the proper door position. A Door must
use 1000-KL1 / 125-130 for floor door / 130-135 for car door /
K0-KA-KK commands from the SCB board for open and close
/ fotocell A (FOT signal SCB). B Door must use 1000-KL2 / 120-
125 for floor door / 135-140 for car door / R12C-R1-R2 com-
mands from the SCB board for open and close / fotocell B (FT2
signal SCB)
4. Increase the maximum speed from the Doppler door drive
P3.03 for opening and P4.03 for closing 5hz each step.
TIP: Check electrical drawings pages 8-16-17

9 817 - 818 Are Open
Up and down limit inputs (817=0 and 818=0) are both
open simultaneously.
Cause
Troubleshooting
1. Check the condition of the pre-limit switches. Press UP left
arrow in the main PCB and locate 817-818. Star indication is
showing the condition. In a middle floor both prelimits must
stay active if the limits hit the mechanical Cam, then Star sign
must disappear.
TIP: Check electrical drawings pages 4-12-13

11 Counter Error
Inconsistency in floor number on displays and car posi-
tion. This error arises if the floor number is not 0 when
the car is at bottom floor (817=0 and 818=1) or floor
number is not top floor when the car is at top floor.
(817=1 and 818=0).
Cause
Troubleshooting
1. Check in error log if a power failure happened.
2. If no power loss happened, check the prelimits condition 817-
818 3). For a reason the system cannot reset. check if pulses
count normally if you use counting with pulses system.
3. Check if your pencil switches are working properly or if your
magnets are week.
TIP: Check electrical drawings pages 4-12-13

12 Encoder Direction Error
Encoder rotation direction is not the same as the car
travel direction. Incremental encoder inputs A and B
(ENA and ENB) should be interchanged.
Cause
Troubleshooting
1. Change A- with B- and A+ with B+ (SP1 DLC1T/H) and try
again.
2. Check if all signals are tight and there is no broken or loose ca-
ble from the main board to the Drive.
TIP: Check electrical drawings pages 3-5

13 No Encoder Signal
No encoder signal is received from encoder while the
car is moving within the time period defined [C29].
Check electrical connections of encoder circuit as well
as the mechanical coupling of the encoder.
Cause
Troubleshooting
1. Check the connections between DLC1 T/H from SP1 plug to
the inverter feedback cable for broken or loose connection.
2. Check if the microswitch of 5VDC or 15VDC is turned in 5 for
Gefran drive or in 15 for Doppler drive
3. Turn the lift in normal mode with Fsafety circuit braker in 0
position. check if there is an error in normal mode. delete the
error and try again.
4. Check if the cabin is moving during the procedure. if not,
check if the safety gear is engaged.
5. Check if speeds signals are moving across the flat cable to the
drive without obstructions in case of MRL panels. Or check if
the RU-RD-RH-RF are wrong.
TIP: Check electrical drawings pages 3-5
