future reference. We reserve theright for any errors in text or images and any necessary

Safety
• For indoor use only.
• Incorrect handling of this blender could result in personal injury.
• Great care should be exercised when handling and cleaning
theblade and thejug. The chopping blade is very sharp.
• The blender should always be disconnected from
themains when it is not in use, when it is to be assembled/
disassembled and when it is to be cleaned.
• The blender must not be used by children. Ensure that
theblender and its mains lead are kept out of children’s reach.
• The blender must only be used with theincluded motor unit.
• NOTE: Ensure that theblender is switched off before thejug
is removed from themotor unit.
• Wash thejug, cutter blade, other chopping attachments and
lid with warm soapy water.
• Switch theblender off and disconnect it from themains
before removing theblade or any of themoving parts.
• The blender may be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capability, lack of experience or knowledge
which could otherwise jeopardize their safety, provided
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
thesafe use of theblender and understand thehazards
involved.

• Never let children play with theblender.
• Ensure that theblender is used with thecorrect voltage. Refer
to theblender’s rating plate.
• Always remove thejug from themotor unit before cleaning.
The blade is extremely sharp and could cause serious
personal injury if theblender were
to start accidentally.
• To prevent electric shocks, theblender and its mains lead
should be kept dry.
• Never lay themains lead over hot surfaces, sharp edges or
corners.
• Always disconnect theblender from thepower supply by
holding and pulling theplug. Do not pull themains lead.
• Make sure that all parts are correctly assembled and
that theblender is switched off before it is connected to
thepowersupply.
• Never operate theblender without food in thejug.
• Never use theblender close to heat sources.
• Only use theprovided accessories.
• Never use theblender for anything other than its intended
use.
• The mains lead should be checked regularly. Never use
theblender if themains lead or plug is damaged.
• The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to
prevent therisk of electric shock or fire and should only be
carried out by themanufacturer, qualified service facility or
qualified technician.

Before initial use
Thoroughly clean all parts before using theblender for thefirst time.
Refer to theCare and maintenance section.
Assembly
1. Prevent unintended starts by pulling out theplug from themains before attaching
theblade assembly and glass jug to themotor unit. Check that thefunction
selector is in the0position.
2. Place theglass jug onto themotor unit. Line the symbol up with the▲ symbol.
3. To lock theglass jug in place, twist it clockwise until the▲ symbol lines up with
the symbol.
4. Fit thelid onto theglass jug.
Operating instructions
Plug themains lead into anelectrical socket
and switch thecompletely assembled
blender on by turning thefunction selector
to anappropriate setting for thecontents
of thejug:
• P – The pulse setting only runs as
long as theselector is held on theP
mark. Adapt thelength of pulse to
theconsistency of thejug’s contents.
This setting can be used for crushing
ice or items requiring alot of power.
• 0 – Off
• 1 – 5 – Lowest to highest speed.
Turn thefunction selector to 0and unplug
theblender after use.
Important:
• Never run theblender for more than 3 minutes at atime. Let themotor cool down
for afew minutes before using it again.
• Never run theblender empty.
• If frozen ingredients are to be blended, they must be blended immediately after
they have been placed in thejug. Otherwise there is arisk that theingredients will
freeze together and jam theblades.
• Do not fill thejug with hot liquid as thepressure build-up in theblender can be too high.
• Never shake theglass jug while using theblender. If ingredients get stuck on
thesides of thejug, shut off theblender and use aspatula etc. Do not start
theblender again before you have properly replaced thelid.
• The glass jug can withstand contents having temperatures of up to 60 °C.
Do not subject theglass jug to sudden changes in temperature as this might
cause theglass to crack.

Useful tips
General advice
• Always keep one hand on thelid when running theblender.
• Use extra caution when blending hot liquids.
• Use theP function for mixing solid or very viscous ingredients to prevent
theblades from struggling and stopping.
Mixing solid foodstuffs into purée
• Add thefood alittle at atime. This will work better than adding everything at once.
Mixing solid foodstuffs
• Cut thefood up into small pieces (2–3 cm) and feed them into thejug continually.
• Always add alittle liquid to solid foodstuffs before starting to mix them. More liquid
can then gradually be poured into thejug through thehole in thelid.
Care and maintenance
1. Always unplug theblender and make sure that thefunction selector is set
to 0before cleaning.
2. Never immerse themotor unit into water. Wipe it with asoft damp cloth instead.
3. Empty theglass jug and fill it with water, place it onto themotor unit and turn
thefunction selector to Pseveral times.
4. Empty theglass jug, wash it and dry it.
Disposal
This blender should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your local authority.

• Ta bort behållaren från motordelen före rengöring. Kniven är
mycket vass och kan orsaka personskada om produkten
