1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Clima-Flex chilled water generator units are controlled by
technically specialized software, scroll type compressors,
evaporators, hydronic components (optional) and various
safety protections. The units operate with refrigerant R-410A.
EQUIPMENT
Factory assembled. All piping, wiring and controls needed for
operation are integrated inside the units
MODULE
Hot dipped galvanized base aluminum frame, Pintro sheet
panels insulated with anticorrosive film, panels for easy
access for maintenance without compromising the stability of
the unit.
COMPRESORES
Hermetic scroll compressors, modulating and variable speed
(inverter).
CONDENSERS
High efficiency condenser made of Microchannel tube.
Condensers can be ordered with anticorrosive coating.
Water-cooled units use plate type heat exchangers.
EVAPORATORS
The evaporators are compact and use plate heat
exchangers. Both coolant and hydraulic connections are
properly insulated.
FANS
Centrifugal long distance discharge fans or axial low noise
operation.
COMPONENTS
Refrigeration Controls
The units have solenoid valves, expansion valves, dehydrate
filters and service valves.
ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
All units come with a control panel, which contains all the
safety and protection devices against external and internal
overheating, compressor protection controls, flow and power
failure detection, and freezing protection. The control panel
includes indicator LED lights.
HYDRONIC COMPONENTS (OPTIONAL)
Water circulation pump
The water pump is fully enclosed and has an anti-corrosion
casing.
Water expansion tank
Installed to absorb the thermal expansion of water has a 2-
gallon capacity.
CONTROL
All Clima-Flex units can be connected to the internet. This
allows for remote control and operation of the units, as well
as remote diagnostics and follow-up maintenance (graphs,
trends, cycle times, alarms, diagnostics, etc.), installation is
simple and flexible using on site internet access.

1.1. CLIMA-FLEX UNITS ADVANTAGES
Clima-Flex CLIC units leave the factory as a kit ready to be installed outdoors at both the floor or
ceiling level. The use of air-cooled condensers eliminates the cost and the need to install and
maintain a cooling tower.
The CLIC family has a smaller footprint and lower weight than the competition. Installation of the
cold water pipes is also easier. All CLIC units leave the factory with the water quick connect
connections installed and ready to be used. Grooved or threaded water connections are also
available for easy installation. Optionally the units may require a pumping module; this module
reduces installation time and space dedicated to a pump room.
All Clima-Flex CLIC units have been tested on the factory to ensure proper operation.
Clima-Flex CLIC units are designed to require less service calls. The scroll compressors can last
hundreds of thousands of hours of continuous operation in different applications and conditions.
The Adsil special anticorrosive coating ensures longer life and better performance.
The components and control sequences used in our units are designed to keep CLIC Clima-Flex
units always running, safety and health monitoring systems optimize performance on the go.
The units are designed to meet the AHRI Standard 55/590 and the UL-1995 standard security.

EFFICIENCY
CLIMA-FLEX water chillers are designed to comply with all requirements on all commercial
projects. Air cooled CLIC CLIMA-FLEX units may be applied in many ways; the units can be
installed as stand alone or in any number combination to get the exact required capacity for the
project demands. The operation allows modulating in accordance with the building thermal load
variations, and achieving the desired temperature in a precise and fast manner with high efficiency
and minimum energy consumption.
CLIC CLIMA-FLEX unit capacity ranges from 25 to 275 Tons of cooling.
OPERATION
CLIV CLIMA-FLEX units have reduced vibration levels making them virtually silent. The overall
design allows for easy, fast, and low price installation.
QUALITY
Each unit is carefully manufactured and individually tested under strict international standards. CLIC
CLIMA-FLEX units have state of the art components that offer a high quality product.
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
CLIMA-FLEX units use R-410A refrigerant to reduce operating costs, and contribute to a significant
reduction of CO2 emissions. We are ecofriendly and strive to make green quality products.
