MS16 User Manual

The MS16 Baby Scale from Brecknell has been designed to quickly and easily gather weight and height

readings on the same scale. Equipped with an easy-to-use weight hold function, the MS16 is ideal for

babies that are hard to keep still.

Before using your MS16 Scale, please install the 4 AA batteries supplied with the scale. These batteries

need to be installed into the battery compartment found on the underside of the scale.

The MS16 Scale comes with 4 self-leveling feet. For best accuracy, place the scale on a safe, hard, flat,

level surface before turning on.

This scale has a maximum capacity of 44lb x 0.01lb (20kg x 5g) with a height range from 14 inches to

27.5 inches (35cm to 70cm).

1.1 Scale Functions

1.2 Scale operation

1. Turn on the scale, making sure the displayed reading is showing zero (0.000).

2. If using a protective sheet or blanket on the scale pan, place this on the scale first and press the

ON/TARE key to zero off this weight.

The display should now show (0.000).

3. Gently place the baby on the scale pan and wait for the display reading to stabilize.

Once stable, the required stable weight reading will flash.

4. Record the weight reading or press the MEM key before removing the baby from scale.

The scale returns to zero.

5. If the MEM key was pressed, press it again to recall the last stable weight reading.

Scale will automatically turn off after 5 minutes if not used.
