Introduction
The information provided in this manual is a guide on assembling the B-TEK, LLC. Super
Sack frame assembly and its components. This document is intended as a guide, and the
installation and operation should be performed by qualified personnel only.
All sales of goods are subject to the standard warranty and the standard terms and
conditions published by B-TEK, LLC.
If you have any questions regarding the Super Sack frame assembly or its components,
contact your local B-TEK, LLC. scale representative.

Fit Assurance
Note: If ordering the super sack frame without a BTEK scale, it is important to ensure a
proper fit to your existing scale, please check the dimensions below to ensure that our
super sack frame will fit your scale.
If you have a square symmetrical scale, the base plates are the only assemblies
that are critical for fit. If your scale is within the sizes above this kit will work with
your scale.

Assembly
Parts Inventory
Carefully remove the super sack frame parts from its shipping container, ensure that
there is no damage, and all parts are included. Please see the diagram and parts list
below.
1. BTEK Clydesdale floor scale or existing floor scale.
Note: If using an existing scale please confirm that it will fit using the dimensional chart
on page 6.
2. Base plate assemblies.
3. Corner support column assemblies.
4. Fill tube cross-member assembly.
5. Upper structure supports cross-member assembly.
6. Indicator mounting bracket assembly.
7. Hardware kit. (Not Shown).

Frame Assembly Procedure
The BTEK super sack scale was designed for easy assembly. To assemble the super
sack kit, follow the simple instructions below.
Note: It is important to know that when putting the BTEK super sack together that safety
should always be observed to avoid injuries. Use lifting equipment where needed and
keep fingers away from pinch points. This kit was designed with high tolerances and
when fitting parts together it should be done in a manner that keeps parts even to one
another to avoid any binding.
1. With the base resting on a flat hard surface slide the two base plate assemblies on
each end of the scale. Please note that the tolerances are very close, to get the base
plates on quickly and easily ensure that they are slid on evenly avoiding binds which will
make putting the kit together much harder or even impossible. Also, note that the
junction box access plate should be located at the rear of the scale.
2. Place all the columns in the base plate corner fittings. Note to ensure that the quick-
release pin holes are lined up and positioned properly. Next, put the quick-release pins
and bolts in their designated holes. Do not tighten anything at this time.
3. Place the indicator bracket on the desired corner and put the quick-release pin in its
designated hole.
4. Using a crane or lift truck, insert the upper structure support cross-member assembly
onto all four corner column assemblies. Insert pins and tighten all bolts.
5. Determine the desired height and position of the fill tube cross-member assembly in
place using a lift truck or crane. Take extreme caution when placing this part in place as
there will be pinch points as it is installed.
At this point, the frame of the super sack frame is assembled. Ensure proper height and
all bolts and quick-release pins are in place. You can now install your gate valve,
system controller, and or supply tubes. If you purchased the BTEK supersack with T-
series batching system proceed to the next section for installation instructions.
Note: The four quick-release bag loop draw ropes that are
Included, in the image to the right, are connected at each
corner of the upper support cross member and to the bag
loop on each corner of the bag helps to maintain the bag’s
shape while it is filling.

T-Series Batching Controller Assembly
Procedure
If you purchased the BTEK super sack kit that comes with the T-series batching system,
follow the setup procedure in the instructions below. The panel mount system is
equipped with quick disconnect cables and labeling that makes setup a snap.
1. Using the supplied hardware mount the batching system controller to the indicator
mounting bracket.
2. The complete super sack kit comes with the BTEK Clydesdale floor scale, both the
scale and the batch controller come with quick disconnect connectors. Connect the
scale to the batch controller using the provided cables with quick disconnect connectors.
3. Open the provided BTEK controller front panel to access the internal relays. Run both
the supply power and fill components power supply cables through the strain reliefs
located on the bottom of the control panel box and tighten. Use the wiring diagram
located on the inside box to terminate your fill shutoff system components.
Note: 120V
The relays are triggered by low voltage DC supplied by the controller, the relays are
wired for 120V supplied by the power cord that feeds power to the controller. If your
feed equipment uses 120V all that will need to be done is terminate components power
supply wires to the relays using the diagram provided in the control panel.
Positioning the scale
Ensure that your scale is positioned under the delivery system, and line the fill tube up
with the delivery tube. Adjust the feet on all four corners of the scale to level the scale, it
is important to ensure all feet are touching the ground during leveling, then tighten the
locking nuts. Use preferred tubing to connect the fill tube to the delivery system tube, it
is important to ensure that there is no binding between the fill tube and the delivery tube.
This can be achieved by leaving slack in the tubing that is used to connect the tubes
together.

Pretesting the scale
After the scale has been positioned and leveled the scale can then be tested. It is
recommended that the initial testing of the scale be done by a certified scale provider.
Place a known certified weight on the center of the scale and compare the applied
weight to the indicator reading. Once the scale has been confirmed to work with certified
weight, test the controller by doing a couple of dry runs to ensure the controller is wired
and performing properly.

Introduction This technical guide will provide instructions on how to set up the T403S as a
batching system for up to 3 Ingredients using the three internal set point outputs.

Procedure
1.Press and hold F1 until PASS is displayed…release F1 > 0 is displayed
2.Use numeric entry method to enter 3 0 8 8 and press ZERO > BUSY > SETUP is displayed
3.Press SELECT > CALIB is displayed
4.Press UNITS twice > SYSTEM is displayed
5.Press SELECT> SITE is displayed
6.Press UNITS until APP is displayed
7.Press SELECT > the current application is displayed
8.Press UNITS until BATCH is displayed
9.Press ZERO > APP is displayed
10.Press TARE > SYSTEM is displayed
11.Press UNITS until OUTPUT is displayed
12.Press SELECT > OUT 1 is displayed
13.Press SELECT > current setting is displayed
14.Press UNITS if necessary to display ON
15.Press ZERO > OUT 1 is displayed
