Getting started
At first use, it is advised to charge the headphone. Please, use the
provided charging cable to connect the case with a powered USB port.
Pairing with Devices
As long as there is no Bluetooth audio device connected, the pairing
mode will stay open, ready to connect.
In order to pair them with your audio device,
turn on Bluetooth and check the
list with available devices, where you can
select ‘Brainwave09’ to connect with.
When succesfully paired, the LED indicator
will slowly flash blue.
Next time, Brainwave09 will reconnect
with the latest paired device automatically
(assuming Bluetooth is on and within range of
the headphones).
lf the headphones are left on but not paired
to any device, they will automatically turn o
after 5 minutes to save battery life.

Active Noise Cancelling
The Brainwave09 headphones feature an Hybrid Active Noise Cancel-
ling (ANC) option to actively counter background noise, up to-35dB.
Besides ANC-mode, there is the Transparency-mode, which allows you to
hear trac and announcements to keep you alert and safe when outdoors.
The Brainwave09 ANC button will enable you to toggle between the
ANC on, ANC o or Tranparency-mode by pushing once on the ANC
button, to set the headphones quickly as per your desire. You will hear
a voice to confirm your status.

First connect with device 1 and then turn o bluetooth in device 1
settings. Now, Brainwave 09 with enter Bluetooth Pairing again.
Enter Bluetooth settings in device 2 and connect to Brainwave 09.
Enter Bluetooth settings on device 1 again and turn on Blueooth and
reconnect to Brainwave 09.
Hold the multi-function button for 2 seconds to turn on your
Brainwave09 headphone.
The device enters the pairing mode automatically when there is
no connection to any (previously paired) device.

Press shortly to adjust volume. Give a long press to skip to
next/previous song.
Press the mult-function button shortly to play/pause the music or
answer or end a call.
Double press the multi-function button to activate the voice
control assistant on your paired device.

FAQ
Q: The headphone is turned on, but not connecting to my device.
A: Make sure Bluetooth is turned on, on your device. Follow the
instructions in the ‘pairing’ section of this manual.
Q: I have established a connection with my smartphone, but cannot
hear any sound.
A: Doublecheck the volume level on your smartphone and the
headphone. Some smartphones require you to set up the headphone
to an audio output device before the audio can be transmitted. In
case you're using a music player or other device, please make sure it
supports the A2DP stereo music profile.
Q: The sound is not very clear or the caller cannot hear my voice
clearly.
A: Adjust the volume on your smartphone and the headphone. Try
getting closer to your smartphone to rule out the possibility of interfer-
ence or range-related issues.
Q: What is the wireless range of the headphone?
A: The maximum range 10 meters (33ft). However, the actual range
depends on environmental factors. For optimal performance, make
sure that there are no major obstacles (e.g. reinforced steel walls)
between the headphone and your device.

Warranty conditions
2 year warranty from date of purchase. The warranty is limited to the
repair of replacement of the defective material insofar as this defect
is a result of normal use and the device has not been damaged.
Artsound is not responsible for any other costs that ensue as a result
of the defect (e.g. transport). For details, please consult our general
terms and conditions of sale.
To prolong battery lifespan, fully charge at least once every 3 months.
Battery life will vary due to usage patterns and environmental condi-
tions. Do not expose to liquids. It may result in permanent damage to
the earbuds or case. Do not use or place near a heat source. Do not
use the earbuds at high volume for extended periods of time, as this
may cause permanent hearing damage.
At first use, it is advised to charge the earbuds and the case. Put the
earbuds in their case and use the provided charging cable to connect
the case with a powered USB port.
This product bears the selective sorting symbol for waste electrical
and electronic equipment (WEEE).
This means that this product must be handled pursuant to European
Directive 2002/96/EC in order to be recycled or dismantled to mini-
mize its impact on the environment. For further information, please
contact your local or regional authorities.
