Open your cleaning kit, and use the wet
cloth to clean the surface of your screen.
Use the dry cloth to remove moisture.

resistance of tempered glass, perfect clarity of the glass, perfect tness to
the exact curvature and dimensions of your device’s display, while you to
continue to operate your touchscreen seamlessly.
Why should you buy X.O. Elephant tempered glass?
Smartphone have become such personal companion in our lives that we
take them everywhere we go, increasing therefore risks of accidents. 45%
of US smartphone owners have experienced at least once an incident
during which their smartphone’s touchscreen got shattered. 8 times out
of 10, this event took place within the rst 12 months after purchase,
and for fewer than 25% of these cases, in the rst three months. Having
your device’s touchscreen repaired is not covered by the phone maker’s
warranty, is costly, especially if the service is performed with original spare
parts in an authorized service center by the brand. So, protecting your
touchscreen with a tempered glass might be not only smart and safe, but
also saving you a lot of money.
Forewords about tempered glass
Tempered glass, also known as “toughened glass” is an almost
invisible, high performance material ideally suited to safely protect your
touchscreen. Much like your car windshield, it has much higher resistance
to impacts than standard glass. To manufacture tempered glass, regular
glass is rst heated to 900°F = 480°C which is the point of stress-relief,
aka annealing point. Once cooled down, the glass is reheated to 1,150° F
= 620°C and rapidly cooled with forced air drafts.
1.Tempered glass can only protect the surface they cover. It is typically
NOT a solution to protect your smartphone against scratches or impacts
on the 4 sides and on the back of your device. If you are looking for a
solution to provide 360-degree protection against scratches and impacts,
you should reconsider and purchase an impact case from X.O.

2.X.O. runs impact test on its high-grade edge-to-edge tempered glass.
We use only the highest grade of Japanese quality sheets of 0.33mm
glass. Our edge-to-edge tempered glass is tested for front impact only.
Lateral impacts, exercising a force from one edge of the glass toward its
center, are not tested; we do not provide any explicit or implicit warranty
for such impacts and tempered glass is not considered having any specic
resistance quality against such lateral force. We test our tempered glass
resistance to front impact by dropping vertically a metal ball weighting
110 grams = 3.8 ounces onto the surface of our product from a height of
120 cm = 3.9 feet, matching normal drop conditions for an adult, and this
is what is considered normal usage. Dropping your smartphone from the
top of a bridge, a oor of a building, the top of a stairway, etc. does not
constitute normal usage conditions for this product.
3.Resistance to scratches of a given material is technically tested by
measuring its hardness. Most of our competitors advertise loudly on
their packaging that their products feature a “9” hardness (supposedly
on the Mohs hardness scale from 1 to 10, 10= hardness of diamond,
the hardest natural mineral found on earth). Frederic Mohs, a German
mineralogist, created this scale in early 19th century. It simply consists
of applying force of one of the 10 dening materials against the tested
material. If the force exercised leaves a trace of the dening material, it
means the tested material is harder than the dening material. If the test
results in leaving trace of the tested material it means it is of a lesser
hardness than the dening material. But it is physically impossible that
any tempered glass ever reaches the score of sapphire or corundum, the
mineral that denes the 9 score on Mohs scale. Besides, all tempered
glasses for smartphones are made of a sandwich of different layers,
the outer layer (the one that should be scratched for testing material
hardness) protecting the tempered glass layer, being a plastic derivative
used as an oleophobic coat. Plastics are not minerals, therefore cannot
be measured on a mineral hardness scale. This is how irrelevant and
meaningless these “9” hardness scores are. Nevertheless, our tempered
glasses are engineered to be resistant to repetitive, normal and usual
scratches due to rubbing daily against objects against our smartphones
in our pockets, bags, whether they are keys, hair pins, brushes and other
metal and plastic domestic objects we are surrounded by. We call it
“ZERO MHI” for Misleading Hardness Information. Rubbing your phone
tted with a tempered glass against abrasive or sharp tools, chemically
active or corrosive substances do not constitute normal use.

4.Edge-to-edge design is an essential quality of your X.O. Elephant
tempered glass. To understand this aspect, you need to know that
smartphone makers have been moving away from absolutely at
touchscreen since 2015. In order for a tempered glass to offer its impact
resistance feature, there must be no micro air bubble or space between
the glass and the touchscreen surface. And at tempered glass having
no exibility, they can only rest on absolutely at surface. But Apple,
Samsung, Sony, Motorola, and LG started to design curved touchscreen.
Sometimes, the curvature is visible to the naked eye, like the Galaxy
S6/7/8 Edge. But even a very slight curvature, invisible to the naked eye,
is enough to make a at tempered glass essentially useless. Sometimes,
a large central estate of the touchscreen is at and only the last few
millimeters at the edges are curved, like on an iPhone 6. Sometimes,
the curvature of the touchscreen starts much closer to the center of the
touchscreen, even if it is undetectable to the naked eye, like on Sony
Xperia XZ models or Motorola Z models. A at tempered glass would be
able to protect only the central estate of your touchscreen, leaving the rest
of the touchscreen unprotected, while an edge-to-edge tempered glass,
following the exact curvature of your touchscreen, is able to cover all of it.
Above and beyond design, edge-to-edge tempered glass is a much more
complex product to manufacture than at tempered glass and provides
superior quality of protection by design.
Compatibility with cover cases
X.O. Elephant tempered glass are case friendly: their edges are thin
while they optimize the size of the area they cover and protect. Inherently,
they increase the thickness of your device. This may or may not have
consequences for the t of current or future cases you have or might
purchase for your smartphone. Some cases on the market might have
very little tolerance for thickness and an additional layer of material on the
touchscreen might be just enough to make the case unt. While elastic
materials such as silicon or TPU will generally accommodate the thickness
of the tempered glass, single or dual harder plastic cases, or metal cases,
can be an issue. Because it is totally impossible to test all the cases in
the market, we prefer to advice our customer for such compatibility risks.
Installing X.O. Elephant tempered glass on your smartphone
Your X.O. Elephant tempered glass comes with an installation kit
consisting of an applicator, a cleaning cloth and an anti-static adhesive
sticker.

• Turn your smartphone off.
• X.O. Elephant tempered glasses are NOT repositionable. You cannot
remove a tempered glass without shattering it.
INSTALL GUIDE
Cleaning your phone screen
Use the wet “Alcohol Prep Pad” and the dry cloth both found in each
packaging of our X.O. Elephant tempered glass to clean the screen of
your phone/tablet, make sure that there will be no dust on the screen
before applying the tempered glass.
You may also use X.O. cleaning spray (sold separately) specically
designed for tempered glass with gentle natural anti-bacterial soap to
clean your screen. Spray over the surface at about 10 inches, then clean
up with a micro ber cloth.
Important: Safety Information
Before use, please simply read the following important safety information.
Following these guidelines will ensure trouble-free operation and optimal
performance of your new tempered glass on your smartphone or tablet.
1. Do not immerse in liquid
2. Avoid exposure to external heat sources; direct, prolonged sunlight;
dust; corrosive chemicals; and moisture.
3. Do not drop your smartphone equipped with X.O. tempered glass or
subject it to shocks.
4. Do not place anything heavy on the surface of your tempered glass.
5. Do not attempt to service or disassemble! This product is not user-
serviceable! Attempting to disassemble, service or temper with the
tempered glass will void all warranties, express or implied.
6. Do not use while under a shower or in a bath, or under running water.
Never place your tempered glass in a regular or microwave oven.
7. This product contains glass, it can cut through your skin! Handle with
care and keep away from kids.
Vendor Warranty
X.O provides a LIFETIME vendor warranty for this product. During that
time (counting from the documented date of purchase by the customer,
as shown on his/her proof of purchase, and until the registered buyer
stops using its smartphone, or let another person use it, provided the
customer has used X.O. tempered glass in what has been dened as
normal conditions, and registered on X.O. web site www.x-o.live within 30

days) X.O. will choose to either replace the product, or alternatively, credit
the customer with the full purchase price if the tempered glass is defective
or broken. Please note that the lifetime warranty is NOT transferable to
any other person than the registered user of the product, each product is
identied by a unique serial number, which you will need to type during
the registration process on X.O. website and is mandatory to activate the
lifetime warranty.
Product registration
You must register your product on X.O. website www.x-o.live within the
30 days following your purchase to activate the lifetime warranty. You
must create your account, by providing your email address, creating
a password, providing your rst, middle and last name, your complete
address, the brand(s) and model(s) of the smartphone(s) for which you
have purchase your product(s), their respective quantity(ies) and the date
of purchase, a legible picture of the relevant proof of purchase, and the
unique serial number(s) identifying each of your product(s).

How to redeem your lifetime Warranty
Browse to www.x-o.live then go into the “Redeem Warranty” submenu
from the “LifeTime Warranty” main menu with your login and password,
select the product for which you want a replacement and upload a picture
of your damaged product installed on your device, and submit your claim.
