dock, the 2.1 wireless high delity audio
system. The following pages explain the
features and operation of the Tango TRX
with dock. Please take a few moments to
read through this manual.
For enhanced functionality and control, download
the free XtremeMac Tango TRX app from the iTunes
app store.
Note: app only works with iPhone and iPod touch models.

When used in the directed manner, this unit has been designed

within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user
to the presence of uninsulated dangerous voltage within
the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude
to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
ATTENTION: The exclamation point within an equilateral
triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence
of important operating and maintenance (servicing)
instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.
CAUTION: TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK, MATCH WIDE BLADE OF PLUG TO
WIDE SLOT AND FULLY INSERT.
WARNING: TO PREVENT FIRE OR SHOCK HAZARD, DO NOT EXPOSE THIS UNIT

SURGE PROTECTORS: It is recommended to use a surge protector for AC
connection. Lightning and power sugers ARE NOT covered warranty for this
product.
Only use attachments/accesories specified by the manufacturer. Do not
expose the product to dripping or splashing. Do not place liquid filled
objects such as vases on the product.

ImPortant saFetY InstructIons
1. Read these Instructions.
2. Keep these Instructions.

5. Do not use this apparatus near water.
6. Clean only with a dry cloth.
7. Do not block any of the ventilation openings. Install in
accordance with the manufacturers instructions.
8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat
registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including ampliers) that
produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding
– type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider
than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a
third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are
provided for your safety. When the provided plug does not t
into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the
obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched
particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point
where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specied by the
manufacturer.
12. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specied
by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a
cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus
combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused
for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is
required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way,
such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been
spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus
has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate
normally, or has been dropped.
15. WARNING: To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do not
expose this apparatus to rain or moisture. Do not place objects
lled with water, such as a vase, on the apparatus.
16. The AC mains plug is used as the power disconnect device
and it should remain readily accessible and operable during
intended use. In order to completely disconnect the apparatus
from the power, the mains plug should be completely removed
from the AC outlet socket.

batteries to excessive heat such as sunshine, re or other heat

gettIng starteD
Remove unit, AC adapter and remote from the box and 1.
properly dispose of any plastic or foam packaging material.
Place unit on a level surface close to a power outlet following 2.

select the appropriate wall adapter. If already attached to the

Connect the AC adapter jack to the back of the unit labeled 6.

LIstenIng to Your IPoD/IPhone through the
Dock connector
If playing an iPhone, skip to the next step 3.1.
If playing an iPod classic, touch or nano, insert the included 2.
adapter into the two holes behind the dock connector and
press rmly to ensure a proper connection.
Carefully place your device into the dock connector.3.
Press the 4. on the top of the unit or the remote to power on
Tango TRX.
Press the source button on the top of the unit or on the remote 5.
until the iPod logo is illuminated as the source.
Press play on the on the unit or on the remote. Use the controls 6.
on the unit or the included remote to adjust the volume and
iPod functions.
Note: The unit will charge your device while docked.
LIstenIng to Your DevIce wIreLessLY over
BLuetooth
To listen to your music over the Bluetooth wireless connection,
you need to pair your device with Tango TRX.
Make sure your device has Bluetooth capability.1.
Press the 2. on the top of the unit or the remote to power on
Tango TRX.
Follow the instructions listed in the manual of your device to 3.
turn on the Bluetooth functionality to pair your device with
the unit.
Pair your device with the unit by selecting Tango TRX from 4.
your Bluetooth listings on your device or selecting yes. If
prompted, enter 0000 as the passcode.
Press the source button on the top of the unit or the remote 5.
until the LED under the Bluetooth logo is illuminated as
the source.
Press play on your device and use the control dial on the unit 6.

Use your device or the remote (for iPod/iPhone only) to control 7.

Note: Once you have successfully paired your device with Tango TRX, you will not
need to repeat the above steps. For each use, ensure that the unit source is set to
Bluetooth and that Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
While there is an incoming call for the iPhone, the music will pause. After nishing
the call, the music will resume playing.
usIng the Xtrememac aPP
For enhanced functionality and control, download the Tango TRX
app. It will allow you to control volume, EQ settings, play/pause
and other iPod functions directly from your iPhone or iPod touch.
