1.1 Scope
This document contains instructions for the factory-assembled and
type-approved
RM-2 and RM-2 Wireless room modules.
1.2 Target group
This document is intended for electricity contractors and the user.
1.3 Other applicable documents
The documents for all accessory modules and other accessories also
apply where relevant.
1.4 Safekeeping of these documents
Documents must be kept in a suitable location and must be available
at all times.
The user is responsible for the safekeeping of all documents.
The documents are provided by the contractor.

Work must be performed by a contractor.
► Only qualied electricians are permitted to work on electrical
components in accordance with VDE.
2.1 Intended use
The modules are for use exclusively in conjunction with WOLF
heating and ventilation units and WOLF accessories.
The modules can be used to control a heating and/or ventilation
system and congure specic parameters or as a remote control for
a heating or mixing circuit.
Intended use also includes observing the operating instructions and
all other applicable documents.
Please note:
– The RM-2 / RM-2 Wireless acts as a room controller when
there is no other controller (BM-2/BM) in the heating/ventilation
appliance.
– The RM-2 / RM-2 Wireless acts as a remote control of a heating
and/or mixing circuit if it detects a different controller (BM-2/BM)
in the system.

are wet or if you are wearing gloves.
2.2 Incorrect use
Any use other than the intended use is not permissible. Any other
use or changes to the product at any time including during assembly
and installation invalidate all warranty claims. The user has sole
liability for such use.
This appliance is not intended to be operated by persons (including
children) with restricted physical, sensory or mental capacities or
who lack the necessary experience and/or knowledge, unless they
are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have
received instructions on how to use the appliance from this person.

2.3 Safety measures
Never remove, bypass or otherwise disable any safety or monitoring
equipment. Only operate the system if it is in perfect technical
condition. Any faults or damage that impact or might impact safety
must be remedied immediately by a qualied contractor.
►All faulty components must be replaced with original WOLF spare
parts.
2.4 General safety information

3 Installation and electrical connection
The module must be xed to the wall using the wall retainer. It can be
placed directly on the wall or on a ush-mounting box.
3.1 Installation recommendations
– Install the module on an internal wall approximately 1.5 m above
the oor.
– In order for the room temperature sensor to function properly, the
module must be installed in a representative room.
– The RM-2 Wireless can also be placed within a room as a mobile
unit.
– The module must not be obstructed by furniture or curtains.
– Do not install the module next to a heat source.
– All radiator valves must be fully opened in this room.
– Keep the module out of direct sunlight and UV radiation.
3.2 Installing the wall retainer
The wall retainer is tted to the wall or the ush-mounting box
using the two included screws and rawl plugs (hand-tight with a
screwdriver).

Feed the cable through the entry point before installing
the wall retainer.
