tankwhichhascontainingfluid.Fluidentertolevelgaugeattachedoutsideofvesselortank,and

thelevelofthefluidstoredinsidethevesselortankischecked.

Tubulartypelevelgaugesaremanufacturedaccordingtocustomerspecification..

1.2Informationregardingtheusermanual

1) Theusermanualcontainsimportantinformationforproperhandlingofthedevice.

Pleasereadthisusermanualcarefullybeforeinstallationandcommissioning.

2) Pleaseadheretothesafetyandhandlingguidelinesprovidedinthisusermanual.Compliance

mustbemaintainedwiththeapplicableaccidentpreventionandsafetyregulations,aswellas

nationalinstallationstandardsandacceptedcodesofconduct.

Handlingmanualforsafeuse

Toensuresafeandproperuseoftheproduct,pleasethoroughlyreadthismanualbeforeuse.

3. Pre-installationinspections

1) Checkforanydamagetotheproductduringtransport.

2) Checkthetagnumberoftheproductandtheinstallationlocation.

3) Checktheisolationvalveatthelocationonthevesselortankwherethelevelgaugewillbe

installedislocked,andthatthegaugevalveoflevelgaugeislocked.

4) Checktheflange,etc.therethelevelgaugewillbeinstalledonthevesselortankisfreeof

foreignmaterial.

5) Inordertopreventdamagetothegaugetubeduetodistortionofthemainbody,checktheC

toC&theflatnessoftheflangesurface,whethertheboltholesbetweenbothflangesare

straight,andwhethertheheightofbothflangesurfacesisthesame..



4. Precautionsforinstallationandoperationoftheproduct

4-1.Pre-operationchecks(Warmingup)

1) Warmupforapproximately80minutesuntilthetemperatureandpressureoftheinstalledlevel

gaugematchthetemperatureandpressureofthetankorothervesselwherethelevelgauge

hasbeeninstalled.

2) Oncethelevelgaugeisready,slowlyopentheuppergaugevalve.Openthelowergaugevalve

byturningapproximately2to3timestoallowthefluidinsidethevesseltolowlyenterthelevel

gauge.

(Suddenlyopeningthegaugevalvecausingrapidflowoffluidintothelevelgaugemaytrigger

thecheckballandblocktheentryoffluidintothelevelgauge.Theimpactfromasuddeninflow

offluidmaydamagetheglassofthelevelgaugecover.)

3) Confirmthroughtheglasscoverofthelevelgaugethatthefluidentersthegaugeandindicates

thelevelinsidethevessel.Thencompletelyopenthelowergaugevalve.

4-2.Troubleshooting

Iftheleveloffluidisnotvisiblethroughtheglasscoverofthelevelgaugeevenafterthelevel

gaugehasbeeninstalled,pleasecheckthefollowing.

1) Confirmthattheblockvalveonthevesselandthegaugevalveofthelevelgaugeareopen.

(Thefluidwillnotenterthegaugeistheblockvalveandgaugevalveareclosed.)

2) Wheninstallingandoperating,checkifrapidingressoffluidhastriggeredthecheckball.

(Ifthecheckballofthegaugevalvehasbeentriggered,closethegaugvalvefully,thenopenthe

gaugevalvebyturning1to2timestoallowthefluidtoslowlyenterthelevelgauge.)

3) Checktheinsideofthelevelgaugeforforeignmatter.

(Foreignmatterinthelevelgaugemayblocktheinflowoffluid.)

 

5. Maintenanceandrepair

1) Observefactorysafetyregulationsatalltimes.

2) Priortobeginningwork,confirmthatinsideoflevelgaugehavebeenempty..

3) Whenreassemblingtheproductafterdisassembly,newgasketsmustbeused. 

4) Theprocedurefordisassemblyandassemblyisasfollows..

6. Transport,packagingandstorageoftheproduct

1) Theproductmustnotbeexposedtohumidity,dustorothercontaminants.

2) Theproductmustnotbesubjectedtoimpactduringstorage.

3) Whenreturningtheproductforrepairs,safelypackagetheproductinitsoriginalpackaging,

andreturntherelateddocumentationaswell.

4) Theproductshouldbeprotectedfromexposuretohumidity,dustandothercontaminants

duringtransport.

5) Theproductshouldbepackagedtoprotectagainstimpactduringtransport.

6) Anydamagetotheproductduringtransportshouldberecordedinthedocumentation.Claims

forcompensationfordelaysininstallationmaybemadeagainstthetransportingcompany.

7) Relativehumidityandtemperatureareappliedaccordingtobelowcondition,duringstorage

andtransporting.

- Temperature:20±10℃/Relativehumidity:Max.60%.


