Attaching the Drill
Place lower block on drill with counter-
bored hole facing up.
Threaded hole where lower block will be
aached.
Use 1/2-13 Hex Screw #277046 and
Mounng Plug #701172.
The 3091 Portable Hole Cuer Assembly does not come with a drill. The following
instrucons show how to aach the drill to the gear rack assembly. This assembly is
designed to be used with a DeWalt Model# DW130V drill.

Attaching the Drill continued
Place drill on it’s side.
Assemble Hex Screw and Mounng Plug
in drill body. Do not ghten.
Install 1/2-13 Flat Head Cap Screw
#277060 into sloed hole of Mounng
Tab #701171. Do not ghten.

Attaching the Drill continued
Tighten Hex Head Cap Screw.
Install (2) 1/4-20 Socket Head Cap Screw
#275133 into the Mounng Tab. Tighten
all three screws. Repeat this for the
second Mounng Tab on the opposite
side of the lower block.
Align Key #701190 installed on Plate
#701063 to Key Slot Lower on Block
#700996.

Attaching the Drill continued
Install (4) of the 1/4-20 Flat Head Cap
Screw #276888 into plate. Tighten all (4)
screws using an Allen Key.

Using the 3091 / 3093 Portable Hole Cutter
Place frame on pipe.
Turn Handle counterclockwise to lower
chain screw threads.
Make sure the machined “V” in the
boom of the frame is centered on the
pipe.

Using the 3091 / 3093 Portable Hole Cutter
Once chain is hooked into the block,
turn Handle #606742 in the clockwise
direcon to ghten frame to pipe.
Pull the chain upward and place into the
Chain Hook Block #700993. (see below)
A bubble level is mounted on top of the
frame for your convenience.

Assembling the drill to the frame
Place Plate #701063 (with drill
aached) into the slot of frame. Turn
Retractable Spring Plunger Knob
#276899, 90 degrees to lock feed
handle.
Pull Retractable Spring Plunger #276899
out and turn 90 degrees. This allows the
feed handle to turn freely.
Once the drill has been placed into the
frame, hold the feed handle and pull the
Retractable Spring Plunger Knob #276899
90 degrees to unlock feed handle before
and aer drilling.
