Bedienungsanleitung
Dieses Gerät ist eine Kombination aus einem Thermome-
ter und einem Kurzzeitmesser. Um die jeweilige Funktion
auszuwählen, stellen Sie bitte auf der Rückseite des
Gerätes den Regler auf TIMER für den Kurzzeitmesser
oder auf COOK für das Thermometer. Die Tasten vorne
zeigen über dem mittleren Trennstrich die Angaben für
den Kurzzeitmesser und darunter jeweils die Angaben für
das Thermometer.
Kurzzeitmesser
Schieben Sie den Regler auf der Rückseite des Gerätes
auf TIMER.
Das Display zeigt Minuten und Sekunden an.
Nutzen Sie die bitte die MIN und SEC Tasten, um die
gewünschte Zeitspanne einzustellen.
Start/Stopp erfolgt über die Taste S/S
Bei Zeitablauf ertönt ein Hinweiston, den Sie über die
Taste S/S ausschalten können.
Um den Kurzzeitmesser wieder auf ‚0‘ zu setzen, drücken
Sie bitte MIN & SEC gleichzeitig.
(Tipp: Sie können den Kurzzeitmesser auch ohne Zeit-
spannenwahl nutzen. Drücken Sie einfach auf die Start/
Stopp – Taste, um die Zeit mitlaufen zu lassen. )
Thermometer
Schieben Sie den Regler auf der Rückseite des Gerätes
auf COOK.
Stecken Sie das Messkabel an der Seite des Gerätes ein.
Kabel und Fühler sind hitzebeständig bis zu max. 250° C.
Das Display zeigt die Temperatur in Celsius oder Fah-
renheit an. Um die gewünschte Einheit auszuwählen,
drücken Sie bitte C/F .
Auf dem Display erscheinen zwei Temperaturangaben.
Set Temp = die gewünschte Gartemperatur (Kerntempe-
ratur) , die Sie festlegen können
Nutzen Sie MIN, um die Temperatur zu erhöhen und SEC,
um diese zu verringern.
Stecken Sie die Messspitze des Thermometers in das Gar-
gut. Versuchen Sie, möglichst die Mitte des Garguts zu
treffen. Die gemessene Temperatur wird links im Display
angezeigt. (Thremo Temp)
Bei Erreichen der von Ihnen vorgewählten Temperatur
ertönt ein Hinweiston.
Falls die Kerntemperatur ausreichend ist, stellen Sie das
Thermometer aus (off).
Achten Sie bitte darauf, dass das Thermometer und das
in Kunststoff eingefasste Anschlusselement nicht in die
Nähe der Hitzequelle kommen. Diese Geräteteile sind
nicht hitzebeständig.
Warnung – Verbrennungsgefahr: bitte fassen Sie das
heiße Kabel oder die Messspitze nur mit entsprechend
geschützten Händen an (Topflappen, Kochhandschuhe).
Pflegeanweisung
Reinigen Sie die Messspitze und das Kabel vor der
Erstnutzung und nach jeder weiteren Nutzung mit einer
milden Seifenlauge.
Um die Haupteinheit zu reinigen nutzen Sie bitte nur
einen mäßig feuchten Lappen.
Achtung: Bitte beachten Sie die Entsorgungsvorschriften
für Batterien. Geben Sie diese an den bekannten Sam-
melstellen ab. Batterien dürfen nicht in den Hausmüll
geworfen werden.

Instructions for use
This device is a combination of a thermometer and a
timer. To select the desired function set the controller at
the back of the device to TIMER for the timer function
or COOK for the thermometer function. The keys on the
front display the timer reading above the central separa-
ting line and the thermometer reading below.
Timer
Switch the controller on the reverse to the TIMER
function.
The display will indicate minutes and seconds.
Use the MIN and SEC buttons to set the desired time.
For start/stop press the S/S button.
A tone will signal the end of the set time which you can
switch off using the S/S button.
To reset the timer to ‚0’ press MIN & SEC simultaneously.
(Tip: You can also use the timer without selecting a
particular time span. Simply press the Start/Stop button
to start the time.)
Thermometer
Switch the controller on the reverse of the thermometer
to COOK.
Insert the measuring wire into the side of the thermo-
meter.
Wire and probe are heat resistant up to max. 250° C.
The display indicates the temperature in both celsius and
fahrenheit. Press C/F to select the desired reading.
The display shows two temperature readings.
Set Temp = your desired cooking temperature (core
temperature).
Use MIN to increase and SEC to decrease.
Insert the probe tip into the food to be cooked. Try
and insert this as centrally as possible. The measured
temperature will be displayed in the left of the display
(Thermo Temp).
A tone signals when the temperature is reached.
If the core temperature is sufficient switch off the ther-
mometer (off).
Please ensure that the thermometer and the connecting
element which is encased in plastic are kept away from
the heat source. These parts are not heat resistant.
Warning – Risk of burning: only touch the hot wire and
the probe tip with protective covering on your hands
(cloth, oven gloves etc).
Care instructions
Clean probe tip and wire before using for the first time
and after each use with mild soapy water.
Use a damp cloth to clean the main unit.
Please observe regulations for the correct disposal of bat-
teries: place them in the specially designated collection
boxes at your local collection point. Do not throw into
household rubbish!

Mode d‘emploi
Cet appareil est la combinaison d‘un thermomètre et
d‘un minuteur. Pour sélectionner la fonction respec-
tive, veuillez régler le régulateur se trouvant au dos
de l‘appareil sur TIMER si vous souhaitez la fonction
minuteur ou sur COOK pour la fonction thermomètre.
Les touches se trouvant à l‘avant indiquent au-dessus du
trait de séparation central les indications correspondant
au minuteur et, en dessous du trait, les indications du
thermomètre.
Minuteur
Poussez le régulateur se trouvant au dos de l‘appareil sur
TIMER.
L‘écran affiche les minutes et les secondes.
Servez-vous des touches MIN et SEC pour régler la marge
de temps souhaitée.
Le démarrage/l‘arrêt se font par la touche S/S.
Une tonalité que vous pouvez arrêter par l‘intermédiaire
de la touche S/S se fait entendre à expiration du temps
réglé.
Pour ramener le minuteur sur « 0 », appuyez simultané-
ment sur les touches MIN & SEC.
(Conseil : vous pouvez également vous servir du minu-
teur sans sélection de marge de temps. Appuyez tout
simplement sur la touche Start/Stop pour que le temps
commence à courir.)
Thermomètre
Poussez le régulateur se trouvant au dos de l‘appareil
sur COOK. Branchez le câble de mesure se trouvant sur
le côté de l‘appareil. Le câble et la sonde résistent à des
températures allant jusqu‘à max. 250° C. L‘écran affiche la
température en Celsius ou en Fahrenheit. Pour sélection-
ner l‘unité souhaitée, veuillez appuyer sur C/F.
Deux températures sont affichées à l‘écran.
Set Temp = la température de cuisson souhaitée (tem-
pérature à cœur) que vous pouvez définir
Utilisez la touche MIN pour augmenter la température
et SEC pour la diminuer. Enfoncez la pointe de la sonde
de mesure du thermomètre dans le produit. Essayez de
trouver si possible le centre du produit. La température
mesurée est affichée à gauche sur le display. (Thremo
Temp). Une tonalité se fait entendre lorsque la tempéra-
ture que vous avez sélectionnée est atteinte.
Si la température à cœur est suffisante, éteignez le
thermomètre (off). Veillez à ce que le thermomètre et
l‘élément de raccordement enrobé de matière plastique
ne soient pas trop près de la source de chaleur. Ces élé-
ments de l‘appareil ne supportent pas la chaleur.

Handleiding
Dit apparaat is een combinatie van een thermometer en
een kookwekker. Om de gewenste functie te selecteren,
zet u de schakelaar op de achterkant van het apparaat
op TIMER voor de kookwekker of op COOK voor de
thermometer. De knoppen vooraan vermelden boven de
streep in het midden de gegevens voor de kookwekker en
daaronder telkens de gegevens voor de thermometer.
Kookwekker
Zet de schakelaar op de achterkant van het apparaat op
TIMER.
Het scherm geeft minuten en seconden weer.
Gebruik de MIN en SEC-knoppen om de gewenste tijds-
duur in te stellen.
Starten of stoppen gebeurt met de knop S/S.
Na het verstrijken van de ingestelde tijdsduur weerklinkt
een akoestisch signaal dat u met de knop S/S kunt
uitschakelen.
Om de kookwekker weer op ‘0’ te zetten, drukt u MIN en
SEC gelijktijdig in.
(Tip: u kunt de kookwekker ook zonder ingestelde tijdsdu-
ur gebruiken. Druk gewoon op de Start/Stop-knop om de
tijd te laten meelopen.)
Thermometer
Zet de schakelaar op de achterkant van het apparaat op
COOK. Steek de meetkabel aan de kant van het apparaat
in. Kabel en sensor zijn hittebestendig tot max. 250 °C.
Het scherm geeft de temperatuur in Celsius of Fahrenheit
weer. Om de gewenste eenheid te selecteren, drukt u op
C/F. Op het scherm verschijnen twee temperatuurver-
meldingen.
Set Temp = de gewenste kooktemperatuur (kerntempera-
tuur), die u kunt instellen Gebruik MIN om de temperatu-
ur te verhogen en SEC om de temperatuur te verlagen.
