Thank you for purchasing Weewell' Infrared Forehead Thermometer
WTF320 is an innovative Infrared thermometer adopting a highly
developed infrared technology that enables the clinical accuracy.
This new type of thermometer will give users relaxation when
taking a temperature with a kinder, gentler way of soft stroking it
across the forehead.
For the correct uses of the thermometer, please read the manual
carefully. It is important to know the measurement instructions for
accurate measurement.
Principle of Measurement
According to clinical studies, the measurement of the blood
temperature in a major artery reflects the most accurate body
temperature.
The Infrared Forehead Thermometer is designed to measure the
temperature from skin surface over the temporal artery, a major
artery of the head.
The WTF320 is easier and gentler to use than existing types of
thermometer such as rectal, oral, underarm and ear thanks to its
non-invasive type. For more accurate measurement, it adopts
advanced sole algorithm that captures the emitted infrared heat
from the skin over the temporal artery, taking 24 readings per
second for 3 seconds.
WTF320 ensures you faster, easier and safer measurement with
a degree of clinical accuracy and several user-friendly functions.

Instructions before Using Product
•
Use this product only for its intended purpose as described in
this manual.
•
The measurement by this product does not represent doctor's
medical examination.
•
Consult with doctors if any abnormality of found.
•
Don't take temperature over scar tissue or opened sores.
•
Must follow the safety instructions when used on an infant or
neonate.
•
Use this product from 10 ~ 40℃(50~104℉).
•
Do not expose the product below 20℃(68℉) or above 50℃
(122℉) or above humidity of 95% (≥95%RH).
•
Do not drop it or take temperature with this product near hot
places such as fireplace, stoves and boiling water.
•
Before taking measure ambient temperature or general objects
(general mode), user must check user’s own temperature is
within normal body temperature range. (35.8~38℃, 96.4~
100.4℉)
•
Follow the cleaning instructions as described in this manual.
•
Do not use this product if it is not working properly and ask to
your service personnel.

There are no parts that you can service yourself except for the
battery change and clean-up, which you should follow the
instructions in this manual. For replacement, please ask to the
store you bought it.
•
If this product will not be used regularly, remove the battery to
prevent chemical leakage. If the battery leaks, never let bare
skin touch leaking fluid and remove carefully.
•
Dispose of used battery properly. Do not wrap it in metal or
aluminum foil. Wrap it in newspaper before disposing it. Do not
burn it. Battery may explode if overheated.
•
Examine the product periodically.
•
Read through the manual before initial use.
Note on Forehead Temperature Measurement
For the correct uses of the thermometer, please read the manual
carefully. It is important to know the measurement instructions for
accurate measurement.
As with any thermometer, familiarize yourself with the instrument
because taking temperatures properly is critical for obtaining
accurate temperatures.
•
Measure only the side of the forehead
exposed to the environment. Anything
covering the area to be measured such
as hair, hat would result in increasing the
temperature.
•
Slide the WTF320 straight across the
forehead, not down the side of the face. If
not, there would result in low readings.

It is not easy for infants to take an actual temperature because
they are usually wrapped up in blankets or clothes. Then push
aside any clothing or blankets covering the neck area for 30
seconds or so, and repeat the measurement. But you feel the
temperature of the behind ear lobe is low, if no perspiration,
required to compare with the temperature of the forehead at
least one time.
•
Sweating causes extra cooling of the skin which results in
incorrectly low reading. It is not recommended to measure the
temperature after wiping the forehead for this reason.
•
Wait about 30 seconds before measuring same area again to
prevent excessive cooling of the skin.
Temperature Ranges
Body temperature means internal temperature of body. Normal
temperature means even healthy person has little change within
short range. Temperature of a person measured at evening is
normally 0.5℃higher than early morning and also affected by
environment, time and activity. Refer to the below picture to find
out the normal body temperature ranges.
•
If there is perspiration on the forehead,
take the temperature behind the ear lobe
area.First, push away any hair to expose
the area, the place where perfume might
be applied, and then wait about 30
seconds or so before measuring. (Refer
to Measuring Methods.)
