4. Overview
The e-Suite Tap is a pillar tap of traditional appearance, which provides electronic
control of water flow, when used in conjunction with a Wallgate WDC100/200e
electronic controller. The use of the tap with an electronic controller allows a range of
adjustable, automatic functions as detailed in the controller product manual; including
automatic run time, hygiene purge and data logging.
5. Package Contents
Before you begin the installation, make sure that you have the following items:
✓1 Product manual
✓1 e-Suite tap kit (contains 2 taps with encoders and connection cables)
✓2 WS3848 Proportional flow solenoid valve (1 per tap)
The following items are NOT included in the pack but required for installation.
•1 WDC100e or WDC200e electronic controller (available from Wallgate)
•1 Thermostatic mixing valve (available from Wallgate) is recommended to provide
temperature controlled water to the “hot” tap.

5.1 Mounting Guidelines
•The e-Suite Tap is designed to be mounted on a Wallgate vanity top or basin but
is compatible with many others. If the tap is to be used with a non Wallgate basin,
ensure there is sufficient space for the water connections to the tap; see Figure 1
for dimensions.
•Hot and cold water supplies are necessary. See Table 1 on page 16 for the
specifications of the water supplies.
•The hot water supply should be fitted with a thermostatic mixing valve, prior to
the solenoid valve, to prevent risk of injury to users & to protect the solenoid
valve.
•An electrical supply of 230V 50Hz with a 2 Amp rating is required for the optional
electronic control units.
•The E-suite taps are to be used in conjunction with a WDC100e or WDC200e,
this version of the WDC has no automatic hygiene purge feature to conform to
WRAS requirements.
