1. From folded position, push handle release
button and extend handle slightly to remove
locking discs from the docking area on the
main body.
2. Pull handle up and back until it goes behind
the “spring latch” shown in Picture B. When
handle snaps into position behind the
“Spring Latch”, your TMDC is in the “oper-
ating” position.
TO LOCK - Push brake pedal down at any
location with your foot until it locks in place,
as shown in Picture C.
TO UNLOCK- Release the rear brake by
pulling up on the brake pedal with your toe.
1. Push the button on the top of the handle
and close most of the way, leaving approxi-
mately 3 or 4 inches of opening.
2. Squeeze top of the spring latch with thumb
3. Swing handle all the way to the base and
close the handle all the way.
4. Lock handle into the body of the TMDC.
Make sure the handle discs are locked into
the docking position on the main body.

Most infant car seats can be mounted rear
facing or forward facing. The straps are set
up for rear facing (baby facing you and the

Your Travelmate Deluxe Cruizer has been pre-
assembled with the Toddler Adaptor Straps.
If you are planning to us the Travelmate DC with
front toddler adaptor buckle and ladder strap and
replace them with the infant car seat straps.
If you are planning to use the Travelmate DC with
your toddler/convertible car seat, please proceed
to instructions on Convertible Car Seats.
1. Locate the front of the base and remove
the buckle strap from the front right side
and the ladder strap from the left front side.
Unhook both straps and store away for use
at a later time, when you will want to use
with a larger car seat.
