1. Install batteries.

Remove the two (2) battery compartment
retaining screws and the battery compartment
cover on the back of the instrument. Install
three (3) AA 1.5 V batteries (supplied with new
instrument). Be sure the battery compartment
gasket is properly installed and replace the
battery cover.
2. Press to turn the instrument on.
3. Connect a compatible temperature probe to the Channel 1 and/or
Channel 2 input connector located at the top of the instrument.
4. Set the desired thermocouple type and temperature units as follows:
a. Enter Setup Menu by pressing – hold key down for approximately
1.5 seconds, and then release it;
b. The Active Thermocouple Type will flash on the display. Use to
select the thermocouple type of the connected temperature probe
(E, J, K, or T);
c. Press (do not hold) to save selection and move to next parameter;
d. The Active Temperature Unit will flash on the display. Use to select
the desired temperature unit (°C,°F, or K);
e. Press (do not hold) to save selection and exit Setup Menu.

1. Batterijen plaatsen.
Batterijen plaatsen
Verwijder de twee (2) bevestigingsschroefjes van
het batterijvak en het klepje aan de achterkant
van het toestel. Plaats drie (3) AA 1,5 V-batterijen
(worden met de thermometer meegeleverd). Zorg
ervoor dat de afdichting van het batterijvak goed
is aangebracht en plaats het klepje weer terug.
2. Druk op om de thermometer weer aan te schakelen.
3. Verbind een compatibele temperatuursonde met de inputconnector van
Kanaal 1 en/of Kanaal 2 die zich aan de bovenkant van het toestel bevindt.
4. Stel het gewenste thermokoppeltype en de temperatuureenheden als
volgt in:
a. Open Menu instellen door op – te drukken en houd de knop
ongeveer 1,5 seconde in. Laat hem daarna los;
b. Het type Actieve thermokoppel wordt knipperend op het display
weergegeven. Gebruik om het type thermokoppel van de
verbonden temperatuursonde (E, J, K, of T) te selecteren;
c. Druk in (niet ingedrukt houden) om de selectie op te slaan
en door te gaan naar de volgende parameter;
d. De Actieve Temperatuureenheid wordt knipperend op het display
weergegeven. Gebruik om de gewenste temperatuureenheid
weer te geven (°C, °F, of K);
e. Druk in (niet ingedrukt houden) om de selectie op te slaan het
Menu instellen af te sluiten;
