The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that the item should
be disposed of separately from household waste. The item should
be handed in for recycling in accordance with local environmental
regulations for waste disposal. By separating a marked item from
household waste, you will help reduce the volume of waste sent to
incinerators or land-fills and minimise any potential negative
impact on human health and the environment.

Smart2.0Pro is designed to be installed to the
standard electrical box. Follow the drawing to
finish the mounting.
You can also connect Smart2.0Pro to electricity
temporarily with a USB cable (not supplied).

3. Operation
3.1 Pair to the receiver
All “Plus” range heaters have a built-in thermostat
receiver-Receiver01 on the backside of the panel.
On the right, see the drawing of the signal lights
and button of Receiver01. The following is a
detailed description of the buttons and signal
lights:
1.Pair status signal light (green light)
2.Heating status signal light (red light)
3.“P” button
4. Power switch
Step1: Plug your heater to an electricity outlet, switch the Power switch of
Receiver01 on, double press the “P” button and the “Pair signal light” will
start to flash and is ready for pairing.
Step2: Power-off the Smart2.0Pro, long press the “SET” button. The “PAIR”
signal will show on the screen of the remote control. Wait until the “Pair
signal light” stops flashing and glows green to finish the pairing.
Note: Once Receiver01 and Smart2.0Pro are paired, the pair signal light will
always be on and the Receiver01 will be only commanded by the
Smart2.0Pro. One Receiver01 can only pair to one Smart2.0Pro, however, one
Smart2.0Pro can be paired to up to 10pcs Receiver01 if they are in the same
room.
3.2 Time settings and
temperature calibration
Power on Smart2.0Pro. Press the
“SET” button for 3 seconds to
enter the settings. The screen on
the thermostat will show as below
and the minutes of the timer

setting will start to flash.
Modify settings by pressing the “-” and “+” buttons. Continue by pressing
“SET” to save settings and shift from one menu to another. If you would like to
leave settings, press the “POWER” button to quit.
3.3 Brief introduction of operation modes
Smart2.0Pro has 3 different operation modes:
•Manual mode (MAN): Simple manual temperature control with 24H
count-down timer function.
•Smart mode (PRG): Programmable temperature control- 7days per
week*4 time zones per day.
•Holiday mode (HOL): Holiday temperature control with a countdown
timer of the holiday mode period.
3.4 Manual mode
To enter manual mode, power on thermostat, press the “PRG” button until
“MAN” sign shows on thermostat. Now thermostat will operate in Manual
mode. Adjust desired temperature by pressing ”-” and “+“.
Under Manual mode, you can set a countdown timer by short pressing the
“Holiday” button. Adjust the countdown timer hours by pressing ”-” or “+”.
Press “Holiday” again to confirm. To quit the countdown timer, adjust the
number to 00H, confirm by pressing “Holiday” button.
3.5 Smart mode
3.5.1 Entering Smart mode
To enter Smart mode power on thermostat, press “PRG” until “PRG” sign
shows on thermostat. Now the thermostat will operate in Smart mode. Adjust
desired temperature by pressing ”-” and “+“, i.e you are adjusting
temperature setting of this current time zone for once.
If you would like to permanently modify the setting, please follow the next
paragraph (3.5.2 Smart mode program setting).

3.5.2 Smart mode program setting
a). Press the “PRG” button until the screen shows PRG.
b). Long press “PRG” to start the program setting.
c). Press the “-” or “+” button to set the time of the 1st period of Monday
Program.
d). Press the “PRG” button again to confirm time setting and screen will shift
to temperature setting of 1st period of Program.
e). Continue by pressing the “PRG” button to shift to time setting of 2nd
period. Repeat above procedure to finish settings of remaining 3 periods of
Program. Then move on to setting of next day until Sunday to finish.
To leave the settings in between, please press “Power” button.
3.6 Holiday mode
Holiday mode on Smart2.0Pro is a useful feature you can use to avoid frozen
or bursting water pipes during prolonged leave. It has a countdown timer of
your holiday date and remaining days of your holiday will be shown on
thermostat. After holiday period, thermostat will switch back to Manual or
Smart mode as per your previous settings.
3.6.1 Enter Holiday mode
a). Press and hold the “Holiday” button until temperature reading starts to
flash.
b). Set desired room temperature by pressing the “-” or “+” button.
c). Press the “Holiday” button again to set how many days you will leave.
d). Press the“Holiday” button again to confirm setting and enter holiday
mode.
If you need to shift back to regular mode before set holiday time is over,
press the “PRG” button to quit Holiday mode.
3.7Energy saving features:

3.7.1 Open window detection: This thermostat has energy saving feature of
Open window detection, you can turn function on/off by pressing the “SET”
and “+” button together for 3 seconds.
3.7.2 Adaptive start: This thermostat has energy saving feature of adaptive
start, you can turn function on/off by pressing the “SET” and “-” button
together for 3 seconds.
3.7.3 Energy monitoring: After connecting the Smart2.0Pro to APP, you can
constantly check the energy consumption of your heating system.
(Settings>>Energy Saving Statistics)
3.8More functions
3.8.1 Child lock: Pressing the “SET” and “Holiday” button together for 3
seconds activates/deactivates child lock function.
3.8.2 Factory reset: Power off thermostat, then press and hold the “Holiday”
button for 5 seconds until screen starts flashing to go back to factory mode.
4. Wi-Fi and APP operation
4.1 How to download the Sundirect Smart APP
Scan the QR code on the right to start the download of the
APP, or you can download the APP “Sundirect Smart” on the
App Store or Google Playstore. Open the APP and register
with your phone number or Email address.
4.2 Connect to WiFi:

Step1: Connect Smart2.0Pro to electricity, make sure Wi-Fi signal on
Smart2.0Pro is rapidly flashing (if not please power off Smart2.0Pro and long
press the “PRG” button until Wi-Fi signal is flashing rapidly). Open APP on
smartphone and add device by pressing “+” on top right of APP.
Step2: Enter the Wi-Fi password of your home network. Please make sure
your home Wi-Fi is working and keep the Smart2.0Pro and smartphone/tablet
as close as possible to the Wi-Fi router. Please note that our APP only
works with a 2.4GHz network, it doesn’t support 5GHz networks
currently. Also, make sure your internet router has enough capacity to
add a new device.
Step3: Wait until connection status shows 100% to finish setting. The Wi-Fi
signal on control box will stop flashing now.
If you failed to connect, please power off Smart2.0Pro, long press the “PRG”
button on thermostat until Wi-Fi signal is flashing slowly and repeat
connection process.
If you still have issues with internet connection, please try to reset to factory
mode.

6. Warranty
Sundirect offers a 2-year manufacturing warranty on Smart2.0Pro.
Within the warranty period from the date of purchase, Sundirect will repair or
replace your Smart2.0Pro where the fault is due to defects in workmanship or
materials. Please contact your local Sundirect dealer in the event of a warranty
claim and return the control box together with proof of purchase. The
warranty covers the repair or replacement of the Smart2.0Pro only. The
removal of the serial number on the back of Smart2.0Pro will also void this
warranty. All labels shall not be removed.Any damages to Smart2.0Pro
caused by the user are not covered by this warranty. This includes scratches
on the surface. Sundirect is not responsible for any damages, losses or
injuries due to the ingress of water or moisture, accidental damage,
mishandling, external impact, repairs or adjustment by unauthorized persons.
