Digital Cinema Sound The ultimate reference for

theater performance is where your movie was born —

the dubbing stage. Directors mix, evaluate and approve

the movie's final surround sound audio track before it

arrives in a theater to be viewed. The dubbing stage is

the movie's final proving ground for the director.

Bringing the dubbing stage into your home represents

the pinnacle in realistic movie sound, as the director

intended it. Sony engineers, in collaboration with Sony

Pictures Entertainment have captured three distinct

dubbing stages to create Digital Cinema Sound process-

ing. This recreation of dubbing stages in Digital Cinema

Sound represents the ideal movie theater sound envi-

ronment based on the preference of movie directors!
