Important Safety Advice
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should be followed to reduce the risk of re,
electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
WARNING: Read these instructions completely before beginning installation. Failure to follow
them could cause an appliance malfunction.
WARNING: If the appliance is damaged, check immediately with your retailer before installation
and operation. The heater must not be used if any part of it is damaged.
Do not use outdoors.
WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
The appliance carries the Warning Symbol indicating that it must not be covered or has
a do not cover label. Do not cover or obstruct in any way the heat outlet grille located
above the window of the appliance.
Do not place material or garments over the front of the appliance as this could cause overheating
and a re risk.
In the event of a fault unplug the heater.
Unplug the appliance when not required for long periods.
This appliance can be used by persons if they have been given instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way or are supervised and understand the hazards involved.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge if they have been
given instruction or supervision concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried
out by children without adequate supervision.
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away from the appliance unless continuously
supervised.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided
that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been
given instruction or supervision concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate or clean the appliance
or perform user maintenance on the appliance.
If the supply cord is damaged, switch off the mains power at the wall socket immediately.
WARNING: The heater must not be located immediately below, above or in front of a xed
socket outlet or electrical connection box.
WARNING: Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not
capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this
appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or
connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
CAUTION: Some parts of this appliance around the heater grill can become very hot and cause
burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
The heater must not be positioned or used where it may come into contact with water, for example
but not exclusively, in wet rooms, bathrooms, swimming pools, laundries or used to dry clothes.

Box Contents:
Please check that the following components are included within the box. If anything is missing or
damaged, please contact the retailer and do not use the appliance until you have everything
in order.
Appliance including frames with trailing lead with moulded 13 Amp plug.
Remote control hand set and batteries.
Log Set.
Fixing brackets and screws.
Instructions.
Unpack the re from the box and remove the packing pieces from each end by taking out the four
screws each end. Using the eight 8mm number 2 screws supplied please ll the carriage holes left
by removing the carriage packing.
Before proceeding to install the SLE125t please plug it in and test it works correctly.
Do not use the appliance in rooms with explosive gas (e.g. petrol) or while using inammable glue
or solvent (e.g. when gluing or varnishing parquet oors, PVC etc.)
Do not insert any objects into the appliance.
This appliance must be connected to a 220-240VAC 50-60Hz supply.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its agent or a similarly
qualied person in order to avoid a hazard.
This appliance is supplied with a power lead complete with a moulded 13 Amp UK three-pin plug
to connect into a standard UK socket outlet. This appliance must be earthed. The plug must be
easily accessible after siting the appliance. Should a new fuse be required, consult a competent
person to establish the reason for the fuse operating. Only once the fault is rectied should a new
13A fuse be inserted into the plug.
Use only a dry duster or vacuum cleaner with brush attachment to clean the appliance. Never
use abrasive cleaners, water, steam cleaners or aerosols on or near the appliance.
Only control the appliance using the manual operations or the supplied remote control
described in this manual. Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer, separate remote
control system or any other device that switches the heater on automatically. You may also use
the Solution Fires App to control your re.

Dimensions
Note: Dimensions stated are in millimetres unless otherwise stated and may be subject to a small tolerance.
Commissioning and Handover
On completion of the installation:
• Ensure that the operating instructions for the unit are left with the customer.
• Ensure to advise the customer on the correct use of the appliance and how to isolate the unit
when required.
• Advise the user what to do should smoke or fumes be emitted from the unit.

Installation
Recessing the Appliance into the Wall
Due to the many different nish materials used on walls, it is highly recommended that you consult
your local retailer/tter before you install this appliance in the wall. Select a location that is not
prone to moisture and is located at least 36” (914mm) away from combustible materials such as
curtain drapes, furniture, bedding, paper etc.
A. Measure the appliance and create an opening to t the re into. See Fig 1
B. Create a route for the electrical connection.
*This measurement includes thickness of nishing materials

Front Trim Removal
WARNING: BEFORE THE FRONT TRIM IS REMOVED OR INSTALLED UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE AND WAIT
UNTIL THE APPLIANCE IS COOL TO THE TOUCH. THE TRIM CAN BE HEAVY AND FRAGILE SO HANDLE
WITH CARE.
1. Release the 2 screws from the trim lock under the top bar of the trim, as shown below in Fig 2.
2. Lift the trim up and away from the appliance, as shown below in Fig 3.

D. Remove the front glass, see below.
Front Glass Removal
WARNING: BEFORE THE FRONT GLASS IS INSTALLED OR REMOVED UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE AND WAIT
UNTIL THE APPLIANCE IS COOL TO THE TOUCH. GLASS CAN BE HEAVY AND FRAGILE SO HANDLE WITH
CARE.
1. Before removing the front glass, ensure the front trim has been removed. For removing front trim,
refer to “FRONT TRIM REMOVAL” section.
2. Remove the screws on each side of the front glass bracket. Fig 4
3. Lift the glass up and away from the appliance, holding the glass vertical not at while carrying.
Place the glass face down onto a soft, non-abrasive surface, careful not to ex the glass. Fig 5.

F. Drill 2.5mm diameter x 10mm deep holes at the marked locations.
G. Insert the screws through the mounting bracket and screw into the holes. Tighten the screws
securely. Fig. 8.
H. Hold the appliance up to ensure it will t into the frame. Use at least 4 screws (provided) to lock
the appliance into the wall mounting brackets. Fig. 9.
E. Install mounting bracket by aligning the edge 6.4mm from the centre of the wall sides and
156mm from the bottom of the wall sides. Fig. 6
Use a pencil to mark through the holes on the wall brackets. Fig. 7

Front Glass Installation
A. Before installing the front glass, ensure the logs have been positioned satisfactorily.
B. Lift the glass up and sit into the bottom groove, holding the glass vertical not at while carrying.
Hold and turn the top of glass to at touch the side panel. See Figure 10.
C. Reinstall the 4 screws, see Figure 11.
Installation - Suggested Log Layout
NOTE: There is no particular requirement to lay out the logs as shown in the photographs above.
The only requirement is that the small triangular openings in the fuel bed of Side B of the re - any
encroachment on this area will reduce the effectiveness of the ame effect.
I. Install the log set to suit your own style. Install the front trim by aligning with the pins on the
appliance. This ensures the touch display panel performs properly.
