Safety Instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully before using the tool and always observe the safety
rules.
Warning
Non-observance of the safety rules while working with the hot air tool may cause fire, explo-
sion, electric shock or burns. Avoid working in rain or moist/damp conditions as this may
cause electric shock. Exercise care when using the tool in the proximity of combustible
materials. Do not direct the tool at the same place for a prolonged period. Do not use the
tool in an explosive atmosphere. Heat may be conducted to combustible materials that are
out of sight. Do not leave the tool unattended when in operation.
Personal Protection against electric shock
Avoid touching earthed equipment, such as piping, radiators, cookers and refrigerators. An
incorrectly connected mains lead could cause possible electric shock. A damaged casing
or an opened unit could cause electric shock if still plugged in.
Store the tool in a safe place
After use place the tool on its knock guard and allow it to cool before storing back in the case.
When not in use, store the tool in a dry locked room out of the reach of children.
Beware of toxic gases and ignition hazards
Toxic gases may occur when working on plastics, paints varnishes or similar materials. Avoid
breathing in vapours, even when they appear to be harmless. Be aware of fire and ignition
hazards.
Caution power cord
A damaged power cord can lead to an electric shock. - Do not carry the tool by the power
cord and do not use the power cord to pull the plug from the outlet. - Protect the power
cord from heat, oil and sharp edges. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Caution
For your own safety, only use the accessories and attachments that are shown in the oper-
ating instructions or recommended or specified by the manufacturer. Using attachments or
accessories other than those recommended in the operating instructions or catalogue may
result in personal injury.
This tool should not be used by children or others who lack the appropriate knowledge or
training.
Repairs
This hot air tool complies with the relevant safety regulations. Repairs should only be per-
formed by a qualified electrician. Failure to observe the operating instructions may result in
injury or damage to you or your place of work. Failure to observe the operating instructions
may turn the tool into a source of danger. Keep these safety warnings in a safe place

Trouble shooting
First action in case of error message.
Unplug the tool and wait until the display turns off. Reconnect the tool and test it again.
If the error code persists or the error occurs again during operation see the
troubleshooting list below.

Maintenance, Service and Repairs
Before any work on the unit: Remove the tool from the power source - Check the power
cord and plug for any visible damage. - For secure and proper operation, keep the unit and
the ventilation slots clean at all time. - Use only original Sievert accessories. If the tool does
not work after following the trouble shooting guide then unit should be taken to an author-
ized Sievert Dealer.
Disposal
Do not dispose this power tool into household waste!
According to European Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE), power tools that are no longer suit-
able for use must be sent for recovery in an environment-friendly manner in according to
national law.

Functional Warranty
For the Sievert DW 3000 we provide a warranty of twelve months/one year from the date of
purchase as evidenced by invoice or delivery document. Any damage that has occurred shall be
dealt with, at Sievert’s sole discretion, by repair or replacement of the product or defective parts.
This warranty expressly does not extend to the heating elements. Any other claims in particular
those for indirect damage or consequential losses are excluded, subject always to mandatory
statutory regulations. Damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper handling contrary to the
user manual and insufficient maintenance is excluded. This also applies where the product has
been altered or changed by the purchaser. Warranty claims will only be accepted if the product
is returned to an authorised Sievert Dealer complete and properly packaged and accompanied
by a copy of the invoice or sales receipt or delivery document.
