carefully. After installation, store the instructions for future reference.

Installation Instructions
Take out all the parts from the packaging and verify that all the parts have been included, then
follow the steps below to install the screen.
Note 1.1: Do not unroll the screen material until Step 4.
1. Lay out the clear plastic film that was included in the packaging for a clean work surface -
be sure that the surface you are working on is generally clear of debris and flat.
2. Unpack and lay out the frame pieces on top of the clean, plastic work surface.
3. Align the frame parts with the back side (side with tracks) facing up. Do not assemble the
frame at this time.
4. Unroll the screen material inside the frame face side down with foam still attached (Fig. 1).
Use caution when unrolling the screen to avoid scratches. DO NOT UNROLL THE SCREEN
OVER THE FRAME OR FRAME BRACKETS. Damage caused to the screen due to sloppiness
during installation voids the warranty. Take extra care when high gain or 3D surface.

Note 5.1: The number of required pins is dependent on the screen size.
5. Count the number of grommets (not including the corner grommets) on each side of the
screen. Slide the counted number of pins for each side into the corresponding frame track.
The pins will only slide in the track one way, turn each pin the correct direction to make it fit
(Fig. 2).

6. Now slide in a pin on the top and bottom frame pieces (bottom frame piece is labeled by
the Severtson logo) on each end for the corner grommets. This will be a total of four more
pins, one for each corner. There should be enough pins in the frame track to match the
number of grommets on the screen material. It is important that you have the exact
amount of corresponding pins and grommets. Too few pins will not stretch the screen
properly. Too many pins will cause the material to buckle.
7. Insert the corner nuts into the openings on the back of the frame sections, and make sure
they are rotated so the hole points toward the end of each section. Insert the corner
bracket into both frame sections on each corner, and through the corner nut. Make sure
the corner is neatly lined up, then completely tighten the set screw in each corner nut.

8. Before tightening the four corner bolts, slide the corner pins (previously placed in the track)
into the corner as shown (Fig. 4). Once the pin is slid as far as it can go into the corner,
tighten the bolt. When you tighten the bolt, the miter joint will slide, locking the pin into
place.

9. Using the snap tool attach the screen material to the frame (Fig. 5). First pull the grommets
over the three pins on each corner (the corner pins and the two adjacent pins). Then attach
the three middle grommets on each side of the screen. Continue around the frame
attaching the remaining grommets to the remaining pins. The screen may appear loose in
the center of the screen at first, but after mounting it to the wall the screen material will
appear tight and flat.

10. Attach frame brackets and side brackets with flat head Philips ¼-20 screws in to Roll In
T-nuts (see included drawing in packaging for location of brackets on your frame). The Roll
in T-nuts can be pushed into the frame track (Fig. 6). There is no need to disassemble the
screen frame. You will have to disconnect a few grommets from the pins to attach the
brackets directly onto the frame. Later, the screen material will cover the brackets.

11. Secure the top wall mounting brackets to the wall using the correct wall fasteners for your
wall type (fasteners not included). Measure precisely to ensure that the wall mounting
brackets will align with the frame brackets. The wall mounting brackets must be placed to
catch the top frame brackets. (See included drawing in packaging for pieces and location of
wall brackets on your wall.)

12. Secure the bottom wall brackets to the wall using the correct wall fasteners for your wall.
The lower brackets should be placed 1/8” less than the overall height of the frame from the
top wall brackets (Fig. 7). The bottom wall brackets must be spaced appropriately to catch
the bottom frame brackets.
13. With two people, one person on each side, lift the frame and slide the frame brackets into
the top wall mounting brackets. Make sure all of the top frame brackets catch the top wall
mounting brackets.
14. Push down on the bottom frame rail to hook the frame onto the wall mounting bottom
brackets. (Be careful not to touch or damage the screen surface – take extra care when
high gain or 3D surface.)
15. If your screen is taller than eight feet, anchor the side brackets to the wall with the proper
fasteners for your wall type.
16. Congratulations! Your screen is ready to enjoy. Do not touch or clean screen surface. The
screen surface is highly reflective, any scratches or damage caused to the screen will be
highly apparent.

Warnings
1. The frame is made with lightweight aluminum. Please handle with care.
2. Make sure the fasteners used are firmly secured to the wall to avoid any damage.
3. When installing the screen material onto the frame, make sure it is facing forward (viewing
side toward the projector).
4. Be careful not to scratch or damage the screen surface while handling it.
5. Do not write or draw on screen surface. Do not poke, fold, or tear screen material.
6. Do not use detergents or harsh chemicals to clean screen material. A soft cloth and mild
soap can clean dust and dirt off the screen material. A cotton cloth can be used to gently
wipe dust off of the frame.
7. Cover the screen to block out dirt and dust if it is not used for an extended period of time.
8. To prevent unnecessary damage, the assembly and maintenance of the screen should be
done by adults.
